He did the same thing before Round 3 and then went out and beat the breaks off Diaz.

At no point did Masvidal look tired from bell to bell. He was dominant.

Just look at how his production slowed in the 3rd round. His hands were dropping and he was breathing out of his mouth at a much higher rate than earlier in the fight. He also plodded around a lot more in the 3rd round.
 
I like Diaz but his fans are almost SEC level of cultish. The only thing you can really grasp at tonight is a stretch in that you wanna believe he was saving himself for rounds 4 & 5. Masvidal was dictating the entire tempo of the fight and was showing no real signs of fatigue or really any damage done by Diaz.
 
Diaz was being bludgeoned through three rounds. Absolutely bludgeoned. It was looking easy for Masvidal and he didn't looked gassed at all.

It was a thorough domination.

However, we knew Nate was going to try and take this man to championship rounds. No idea what would have happened once the bell rang for Round 4. Nate was started to rock Masvidal late in the third.

Such a bad decision. Bad for the sport.

He was not “gassed” he looked like any normal fighter would going into round 4. He was up huge and was ready to pound Diaz some more. Diaz was barely surviving each of the 3 rounds

I was actually feeling bad for Diaz because he wouldn’t have even had a face left after round four. Dudes faces wouldn’t been ripped clean off, because Masvidal strikes were powerful and precise.

Diaz should nothing in that fight to suggest he was ready to “kick ***” in rounds four and five. All he showed was an ability to get dominated, which would’ve likely continued in 4 and 5.

For real though. This BMF belt thing needs to be done with. Its a complete joke. This is some faqqit WWE schit. If the want to make it like WWE, let them trash talk more, let them get scrappy in the press conferences. Don't put these gimmicky belts. Every hates the 500 belts they have in boxing.
 
This sucks for Masvidal. Because of Diaz and his history in championship rounds, Masvidal wont get much credit for what he was doing. Now most of the talk will be about the bad stoppage, how Diaz was fine, and how he was gonna turn it up in the the next two rounds. Not on what Masvidal was doing.

LOL his punches were anything but powerful and precise. If they were powerful and precise Diaz would have been sleeping.
