Have you lost your mind ? You’re literally the guy that started the ”fat Manny “ moniker. You’re going heel to face more than the Big Show and Randy Orton combined.
- That must be a rhetorical question
- Big Manny
Mario, and staff, are far from perfect in game management to be sure, but we are being a touch (ok ALOT) duplicitious in our arguments.
"Why can't Mario (aka
Big Manny) just get out of his OCs way and let him run a modern offense!!!!???? He's such an interfering caveman!!!!"
vs...
"Jesus ******* christ, Mario needs to insert himself into the minutae of the 2 minute drill (
OCs job btw) and why isn't he forcing the OC to call this or that wide open play!!!?? Why isn't Mario doing every other key staff member's job at critical points during the game!!!??? What a loser!!!"
With that said, the corches put the players on the field, but they have to be realistic with those pieces. Save BC game yesterday, anytime TVD touches the ball it's a crap shoot for catastrophe. So that limits plays, in turn limits game plan.
Emory, as valiant as he was, also clearly was limited in 2 minute drill scenarios.
I would also argue what some call "clock mismanagement" is actually a feature of San Mario's fysical philosophy of ball control and "we'll win in the end by grinding them down", who cares if by 1 or 100, Miami wins.
Porsters can disagree with the philosophy, but I don't think Mario sees it as mismanagement, you allegedly evolved window lickers just see the world differently than he does, but fyzical ball control offense just beat Ohio State and almost upset Bama with less talent (I still want to break **** I'm so ******* angry).
Now, this doesn't make either party right/wrong, but does make for good CIS thread debates don't it.
To be the man, you gotta beat the man.
