Mark this down as the date Rick lost the fanbase

It’s over, old buddy. They ain’t firing this guy, and I’m not even going to waste my energy thinking about it or trying to rally the troops.

We’re stuck with this dope until he decides to retire. Hopefully, he has enough love for UM that he will put his ego aside and hire a real OC.

I give you the " red mark, " because Mark AIN'T never going to hire an OC! No pun intended.

Banners, social media, not showing up for games, ripping him on the radio. Whatever it takes. The whole city has to turn against him & make his life ****. It’s not like he’s some spring chicken. Unless he hires an actaul OC then he needs to go asap.
Say you're successful with your crusade and it becomes so toxic that Miami has to fire Richt.

What's the plan after that? He's leaving with a massive buyout so we'll have no money to pay another well thought of coach (especially if he's got a buyout of his own to pay).

Don't say Butch.

A great CEO hires people who challenge them and are talented in their own right. Great leaders surround themselves with people who can challenge them if they make the wrong decision, it's probably the single most significant indicator of a good leader. Richt does the opposite, everyone around him are Yes-Men.

BINGO!!!!!! And that's why Miami will be a nine win team, with an occasional ten win season akin to last year. As for play-off contention. That will NEVER happen while CMR is in Coral Gables. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Never say never and what not.

Wrong! You call plays so your OFFENSIVE LINE will be successful more than half the time. Just look around the country on Saturday's. In other words, when said head coach calls BLAND, VANILLA, DULL, ANCIENT plays then one puts his QB and or offensive in harm's way. Witness last night's embarrassment against an average Virginia team.
This makes no sense. These slow developing run and pass plays are not putting our OL or QB in position to succeed. Last night’s game was evidence of that. Too many drives start off with predictable runs for no gains on first and 2nd down which puts the OL and QB in an obvious passing situation on 3rd and long.

Cotdam. Thats brutal, what is worse is that he did it with a qb Richt didnt even recruit in his backyard who won the heisman. Yikes.

Tell me about it brother. Dude loses Cam Newton & Deshaun Watson in his own backyard.

Meyer (twice), Les miles, Saban, & Chizik all won nattys AFTER coming into the SEC after richt.

+1 on sentiment, agree.

Watching this loss, to me at least, was the same as Golden's loss to Cincinatti.

Let’s not forget he lost the team in Georgia before his firing. He’s not a good CEO, or else he would have had more success as one there.

He literally has a Meme about it because he has lost the locker room so many times. the Has Richt lost control of the locker room again Meme.

I understand Perry started off really bad. I get that.

Once Rosier was benched for the freshman.....that’s it. Over. Rosier has MORE than enough slack to prove himself and he couldn’t.

If Perry threw 40 INTs last night I don’t care. He is our future, he has to learn sometime

And even beyond that, once Rosier came in and threw a bunch of typical ducks....he’s back out. No excuse not to put Perry back in at some point unless Rosier was rolling
Perry should've never been pulled. He should've been given quick passes, moved the pocket and told to use his feet if it wasn't there.

Plenty of things an exp OC could've done. Not just last night but the past two weeks to help build the young man up.

You know what you're going to get from Rosier. You don't know what you're going to get from Perry yanking him after two mistakes. The game was never out of hand that we couldn't climb back in it. Until the final drive that took two days to complete.

Exactly. Agreed completely.

Manny Diaz & somone running the show on O.

That terrible onside kick was eerily similar to the one against GT last year. This coaching staff is wasting another NC caliber defense

Thats probably the worst part of all of this...our defense is ******* savage. And it will absolutely be going to waste. A game like this guarantees we'll be losing more guys early to the draft than we could have otherwise.

I still think Richt is a top tier coach who can win championships at Miami. Everyone is emotional after yesterday and I get it...but big picture it’s just one game.

Everything hinges on Richt’s willingness to make changes. You guys are so beat down from the Al Golden era that you’re assuming every coach is stubborn and won’t change his ways....but I believe what separates Richt from Golden is his abiliity to adapt.

We all know where the issues lie on this team: quarterback, offensive line, and specials.

Stacy Searles isn’t working out here. Hartley isn’t working out as ST coordinator. Guaranteed after this year we get a new OL coach and ST coordinator.

As for QB....let’s just pray Jarren Williams has what it takes.

No its NOT just one game.....It's multiple games against inferior competition.....Lol at he's Elite....

I get MAYBE sitting Kosi for a series to settle him down and to get him to breathe a second, but after that Rix signed off on being a ****. the O is on him and it is just not good enough. No excuses. He has to look in the mirror and accept that as a play caller he is washed up.

Brother, not attacking your post or you.

I'm just in the mind set. That you game plan around your deficiencies. In doing so. You're cutting off many issue before they become a problem most times.

Perry should've never been in that situation.

Rosier should've never been asked to pass 40 times a game. When he is either late on every throw or couldn't hit the Willis tower standing right in front of it.

You build around the talent you have. Not try to fit square pegs into round holes and think the outcome is going to be positive.
