Its plausible that he is getting $7.5MM from Florida. Here is an excerpt from an article on MSU trying to keep him:

His $4.5 million salary in 2017 ranks 14th among all college football coaches, per USA Today. A potential raise to $6 million would move him up to No. 6, just past Florida State's Jimbo Fisher ($5.7 million).

Wonder if Mullen coaches his bowl game if so even further behind the power curb especially with early signing period. I think we should hire RS for lbs and special teams . He would be good at that and he can recruit

He can’t recruit worth a shīt. He had half the HS coaches down here hating him when he was down here, and in turdtown he’s known as Mr. 2-star under-the-radar specials, otherwise known as a Wandy special.

That’s ok, we’ll just call this really bad judgement post as side-effect of PTSD from the bad loss.

6. Pay Mullen 7 million to corch up the go gaytahs

I can't believe the hillbillies are trying to spin this as good for them. Mullen and his wife have both talked sht about UiF and Gainesville. The only way it can better is if Radio Randy is made DC again. What an absolute disaster for them.

That's the one thing these delusional fanbases, FSU, UF, and the like, don't ever seem to understand. SEC teams win a couple titles in a row and all of the sudden UF and other SEC fans think no team from the ACC or BIG 10 will ever win again. FSU wins a couple in a row against us, and all of the sudden they're talking like Miami will never beat FSU again.
