Did anyone expected Richt to lost the fanbase this fast?

the problem with the UVA loss is that it continues a disturbing performance trend that has carried over from UGA.
he always stumbles agaisnt an inferior during course of year. UGA was always better than S. Carolina but CMR was not better than Spurrier.
losses to Vandy, Missouri, are prime examples. his decision to start a QB who had never started an college game against the Gators hastens his exit. in essence he is not a " killer" on the sidelines.Spurrier, Meyer Saban ate him alive. we should be worried when he comments " these plays have been working for 30 years?
omg, the game has not changed in 30 years please
need money for staff to get him to change... OC, S&C QB coach
James took him rather than Butch or Mullen as he was " safe" is this what the BOT wants ??
in the interview Butch talked about a championship, CMR most likely tackled about developing his players character

What you are failing to realize, whether it's UVA, V-tech or Boston college, those are 3 physical teams, our offense is not physical at all, and our receivers are not developed enuff to be physical, so no matter what you feeling or thinking, the reality is, offensively we're getting push-around, and losing field position on punts. If we punted better and was able to move the ball on offense better, our defense would be even more dominant.

Yes I agree our special teams suck and our offense has problems.
Both are issues that Richt could have fixed and he made decisions that have resulted in both issues holding back the team.

Can't believe people still think this. I'll always be a fan but Im also a realist, we will not win out with rosier. Period, end of story we will drop one or two more until Richt pulls his head out of his ***

+1, these idiots think the offense is just going to fix it self somehow. It’s like they haven’t watch this offense sh*t the bed over the last year.

UVA's defense is not some physically imposing defense. Plenty of middle of the road teams pushed them around and scored points on them without issue. There were also missing 4 starters on the defense who were out due to injury. Richt simply made them look physical and tough because of his complete offensive ineptitude.

You either have the personnel or you dont, coach richt hasnt been here a full 3yrs yet and expectations have already been raised to a national championship level. He cant fix everything that quick, but its in the works.

Did anyone of us envision that MR will lost the fanbase in this manner? Some people were a little suspicius after 4 straight looses but he was still respected. After the UV game everything have change, he show us who he really is and the stubborness plus shortcomming that cost him the Georgia job. We give Randy a chance and know what to expect, Golden was an old car salesman but he at least acknowledge his failures but this man is on full free ride!!

Is this a troll writing like this on purpose, or is it an actual Miami fan who, unsurprisingly, has trouble writing a complete sentence?

No matter how you slice it, our offense is not going to be more physical than any Virginia team this year, UVA has a solid secondary. Its simple, which offense was better, this years UM version or last years, if you jnow that answer than it should all start making sense to you now.

Miami with the right coaches absolutely dominates Virginia this year. I'm talking 42-10 type of score.
Miami with poor coaching loses 13-16.

lol at losing the fanbase. there are a lot of over reactionary internet gunslingers desperate to have the first post condemning the coach. it's become its own sport.

the vast majority of us are still MR fans.
You got a link to that poll of UM fans? Because Richt has not been very popular on these message boards or Twitter lately. Even some of the more patient and level-headed bloggers have turned on him because of how poorly he has handled the offense.

Coaches need to win - especially at a program that has the most football talent in the country.

And 5 championships.

He laid a massive egg on national TV against a decent - not great - LSU team led by a quite average HC.

We were down by a pile to a very average FSU team - and the defense had to rescue the game for him. And again, I'm not aware of the new HC at FSU being a big-time coach.

And then we lost against a trash bin team up at VA.

But he's done well against the JV squads we've played this year.

Life is about production and he hasn't produced this year.

And we ended last year badly, too.

Were these same coaches poor last year!
Yes. We won the crappy coastal last year despite having a poor offense, not because of it. We had no business needing last minute prayer wins against North Carolina, Florida State, and Georgia Tech. With a top 40 offense last year those are comfortable wins. Don't even get me started on the garbage performance offensively that was the Pitt game and of course the 3 points we squeaked out late in the game against Clemson's 2nd stringers. Niiiceeeee. And the bowl game against Wisconsin was a complete second half offensive collapse.

The writing has been on the wall for 3 years now. Richt is not an offensive coordinator. Can he be a good head coach and represent this University? It really depends if he is humble enough to make the changes necessary for our offense to move forward. Diaz is a prime example of a guy who studies his weaknesses and tries to address them. He's not perfect, but I don't need perfect, not looking for a #1 ranked offense. But is an offense ranked in the top 30 or so unreasonable at Miami?

ACC championship is the goal

Can't do that without winning the coastal

If NC State wins Saturday we have a legit shot at facing NC State in that game and winning the ACC

No, the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP is the goal at Miami. ACC championship is the goal my @ss. We aren’t Virginia Tech or BC

Get real man. We haven't sniffed one since 02.

So, you want to lower the standards because of that?? FOH. The national championship is the goal at Miami. That’s the target. When you aim low you’ll hit a low target every single time

We aren’t Colorado, BC, or Michigan State

Do you live your own life that way? Keep your standards low
