Calvin Ridley Per CS

It's not really about WR. It's about losing the top prospects in your backyard once again. That said, if we're losing this kid because of the Phillips thing, so be it. I'm fine w/ that.

We have FOUR ELITE running backs committed, maybe Walton doesn't reclassify into the 2015, maybe Dex de-commits. But as of now we have FOUR! Run, run, run and throw just to keep the defense honest. We can win games without getting an elite WR in this years class.
We are already stacked with playmakers at WR, not elite, but we have playmakers. All we need are chain movers because with Duke Johnson in the backfield, we can and will run on anybody!

Hypothetical question- If you were snitched on by someone would you still be friends with them?

They snitched on your team coach, not the HS player. The recruit did not break the recruiting rules neither he is accountable for rules he doesn't know about. Your beloved assistant coach did.
Lmao at beloved coach, if he was beloved he would still be at UF.

Hypothetical question.......You are a gator fan and your closet looks like this......

Do you have a problem with putting things in places WHERE THEY DON'T BELONG?

So, Ridley is about to commit to Miami, mentors advise against it, he commits to Bama, gets caught with the Joker, has grade concerns and Pete says wait until it gets later in the recruiting season.

All this and we still hear the anti-staff comments?

Please, no logic. Canes leans/locks, with questionable grades, who suddenly switch to an $EC school, who are then part of a recruiting violation at another $EC school where the coach gets fired (imagine that!), and folks still expect them to sign here?

They are upset over that picture that was turned in to the NCAA

If some of you didn't keep bringing those Bamar sell outs up i would have forgotten about then by now.

I still don't understand how you are all set to commit to Miami, then have some announcement set at a practice, have reporters on hand, then don't announce, then some weeks later commit to redneck trailer park dumbest fanbase in America's team(articles ranked them that).

That all seems on the up and up to me.
I dont think they were ever going to commit on that day the coaches had them say that to get the media out there
Would u just **** off already. I have Never even been to your teams site. Can't believe U care that much about what we are talking about daily. This is a canes site ***.

I second that. I have two kids plus their spouses who a graduated from swamp u and I don't even care what THEY say. I guess it is like why EVERYONE cares about what the Pope says. Deep down inside everyone just knows what he says matters more than what they think. Same in college football---IT IS ALL ABOUT THE U!!!!! Must suck to be a fan of any of the false football faiths.

Deuces to both of them. We got 99 problems but receiver ain't one.

Does this team not need elite playmakers?

Coley, Berrios, Brady, Langham, etc... Plus Chatman and Spence coming in? No worries at WR.

Coleys the only elite playmaker out of those. We need to keep adding the elite talent and especially the ones in are backyard

Dude climb off the ledge...Berrios is a big time talent. Il admit Im not sold on Langham an especially not Brady, but we just got a commit from Snelson, Mullins, and Sam Bruce. Its probably gonna be the #1 2016 recieving class. WHen was the last time we lost a game becaus eof our WR's? We will be more than fine at Wide Receiver

"Feeling down about your Canes? Worried about recruiting??? Have no fear!!!! Bizarro Bleakman is here!!!"

Yes we lose top prospects and that is a problem. But still recruiting is not are big problem. 2014, while we missed some, was heck of a class. Ton of defensive talent even on Dline, plus another 4* top qb and elite RB. 2015 has weakness, Al was not in top form early on(we all know why), but still we have a another 4* QB with fantastic measurables and upside, 3 top flight 4* RBs and maybe a 4th, a 4* LB and DE. Yeah, this class can be and should be improved but I cannot recall ever, I mean ever, getting a start like we are getting on 2016. My Lord, that class is looking like best ever. Something is happening I don't understand. These kids see something most of us don't. For me the play on field is our problem; these kids seem to have decide THEY will fix that. Let's hope staff steps up this year, 'cause last year's class was loaded, despite the misses, and staff needs to deliver some rear end whipping on the field with it. For me, if this staff coaches as well as it recruits, Bama gonna need all the help it can get and so is everyone else. The field is all that matters this year.

He needs to visit Bama in the winter months to see what half of the year will be like, cold and in the spring cloudy and rainy.

You know Duke is probably gone after this season, right?

This comes just days after Pete posted in The Work that we have always been in the picture for Ridley and SBB despite their commitment to Bama, and will likely make a major push for them closer to NSD.

Hard to believe this news from Ferman. Really hope it's not true because Ridley is a monster.

To add to this:
I spoke to Calvin at The Opening, not long after he was named MVP. There was a lot of Bama sentiment in the air: his QB kept saying Roll Tide, the field announcers kept emphasizing Bama commit to Bama commit whenever they'd score, and Luginbill played the building chemistry with your future QB angle in his post-game ESPNU interview. I even caught CR saying Roll Tide, and gave him flak. He laughed and quiesaid he still loves UM too. I'm sure his visit to Bama has momentum leaning in that direction, and there's a long record of guys feeling fondly about the U and going elsewhere, but my sense is Miami isn't out of the picture completely.
