It's OK, bro!

We have 3 WRs committed that together equal 1 Ridley.

Dionte Mullins, Sam Bruce, Dredrick Snelson, Michael Irvin jr... Will make up for the loss don't ya think???

No, a bunch of juniors don't make up for losing the top prospect in your backyard, again.

It ain't over.

Not this crap again. Having flashbacks to the posters claiming Collins wasn't a big loss because Sony and Cook were part of the 2015 class.

We have 19 months until those 2016 kids can sign and it'll a battle to hang onto to all of them, perhaps Irvin withstanding due to bloodlines. Ridley's a ******* beast and a bunch of verbal commits don't make up for his loss.

Verbal Commits? You mean like Ridley is now??

Scarlett would like to have a word with you.. Sam Bruce is right on the level as Calvin Ridley as a prospect.. Ridley is 19 already kid is 1-2 years ahead of his classmates..

I wasn't aware that Scarlett was a WR.

Also, Bruce and those 2016 prospects are two seasons away from helping us. You apologists ******* kill me.

Scarlett plays RB and is not the top prospect in the area. And Sam Bruce is 2016. It's actually great news that Ridley is older (for Alabama). That means he will also be 1-2 years older than his classmates in college, so they will eventually have a 23-24 year old man playing against 21-22 year old kids.

I remember when Kelvin Benjamin was older than his classmates and people didn't think he could dominate in college like he did in high school.

Fast forward to 2013 and he catches the game winning TD in the national championship game and makes himself a first round draft pick. The excuses you see around here...SMH.

It shouldn't have to come down to either/or.

Bruce, Mullins, and Snelson are elite talents who've committed extremely early for the 2016 class. All three would unquestionably be enormous additions, but hanging onto all of them for a year and a half is going to be no small feat. It's not like we have to go back all that far to remember the last time we lost a commitment from a stud receiver (see Travis Rudolph last March, though he wasn't considered elite at the time).

Meanwhile, there's a very real possibility that we miss out on Ridley (Bama), Cain (Clemson), Peete (grades), and Phillips (FSU). Striking out on the top in-state receivers for the second year in a row would be a major problem regardless of what we have lined up for 2016. But especially with Ridley since he was once a heavy Cane lean and is a truly elite talent.

The three 2016 WR commits are great talents AND it's a problem if we miss on the in-state studs at the position for two straight years. They shouldn't have to ease any blow for the misfires of the previous two recruiting cycles.

Oh well I guess we will have to suffer in 2015 with an ALL ACC WR in Stacy Coley, SR Waters, RS JR Lewis, Berrios, Tyre Brady, Gray... Until the 2016 class arrives.
