So you're 100% ANTI DEMOCRAT, yet you're not pro-Trump? What are you then? It's disingenuous when you guys come on here and pretend to be anti-Trump, yet pimp for him and will definitely vote for him.

You're rightly embarrassed by him and don't want to be associated with him, yet you'll vote him for his great economic work even though most people went broke a week after they stopped getting paid with the COVID shutdown.

I'm not 100% anti either party. If you guys can manage to quit treating this **** like a team sport where you pick a side no matter how disgraceful the candidate it, maybe the country can dig out of this cesspool.
You make a good point chise, especially the last paragraph. But I also don’t like the looks I get from some people when I tell them I identify more with republicans than democrats. It’s like I have some kind of disease or something just because I believe in conservative ideas and don’t follow along with whatever (in my view) extreme idea the left comes up with next.

People think im joking. Covid is Biden's running mate. he apparently has dementia and trump had a great economy so if they allow businesses to keep opening and people feel good, they will go with trump.
A friend of mine said the same thing to me about 2 months ago and I just thought he was smoking some of that good good. Now I’m thinking I was the crazy one for not listening to him more. This is totally plausible and believable at this point.

Today is a big day; when the irrelevant PAC-12 saves us from their humiliation and makes decisions like the FBS conference they really are, the Big10 get divvied up, and the ACC finally moves just under the SEC as a power conference. Manny Diaz--King of Transfer Portal--come all ye weak and weary PAC-12 5-Stars.

At what point do people say we're never going to cure this disease by cowering under our sheets? It was all about flattening the curve so we didn't overwhelm hospitals, now it's wait for a vaccine. What if not enough people take it? What if it's not as effective? What if it wears off?

Take proper precautions and live life.
Right after the election. The panic is completely political. The parties are will to destroy the economy and people’s livelihoods all to win power!!!

Remember the tea party when republicans at least pretended to be the fiscally responsible ones. Rudderless ship
Fiscal responsibility is always a beauty in the eye of the beholder isn't it? Really highlights the unbridgeable gap in world views and values.

he exhibits signs of dementia. its an open secret he lost his marbles. Obama begged him not to run.

I beg your Pardon...My Pics with Cane Greats far surpass your Pics with Sean Hannity and Mitch McConnell....

Oregon’s Justin Flowe and Dontae Manning should be priority #1 and #2.

This is another one of those things that aren't completely accurate that are being reported. We all heard 60-80% for herd immunity. That's the model based on the original assumed R0 (4) of this virus which assumed one positive person would give it 4 others. The Rt is down to 0.91 in FL now. That drops herd immunity significantly. It's estimated that ~20% of the population has already had it.

We'll continue to see cases until this virus evolves into just another common cold virus.

Again, I am not holding myself out as some sort of medical expert on herd immunity, I was simply commenting on the intent vs. the actual outcome on this issue alone. They believed they needed a certain percentage. They took action on that hypothesis and did not reach that percentage.

Now, if we have a situation where herd immunity at a lower percentage is also effective, that would be great. But what Sweden wanted to accomplish, and why they did what they did, compared to the actual outcome in percentages, is that they fell short of the goal.

What I will say is this. They HAD a plan. Time will determine if the plan was the best or not, but at least they devised a plan and followed through. The US cannot even come close to Sweden's planning. We have no plan.

No one hates that orange mental patient more than I do, but he's gonna fck around and catch my vote if he keeps this up.

Are you serious? I saw you at that meeting of Democrats, where we all decided to tank the American economy for a year just to win an election. NOW you're going to change your vote over college football? I thought we were all in agreement that we would destroy everything in America just to win one election. Go ahead and change your vote, then, just don't tell anyone about our secret plan to win the election, take away guns, and give US citizenship to the entire South American continent.

Only a partisan hack & ideologue would preach fiscal responsibility & austerity during a time when the top 1/5th has 90% of all the wealth in this country. Did fiscal irresponsibility help create that? Cognitive dissonance at it's finest. The unbridgeable divide is created & exacerbated by those who insist on politicizing an issue like income inequality which affects every aspect of American society. I must say old man you continue to reach new lows with every porst. It's like you're porsting from a bottomless pit. LMAO

Don't confuse video games with actually being somebody. It isn't healthy.

The original percentage was given assuming a worst case scenario. It wasn't explained that it could change and has been quoted as gospel ever since.

Just as we talk about Sweden being a country of just 10 million regarding infection rates, the same is true with planning. Give me a small, largely homogeneous population in a relatively small area without trust issues and I can plan too. Our diverse, spread out population with varying densities and political beliefs make it close to impossible here. That said, there had better be a workable plan developed before the next one.

A man that's forced to play on an unleveled playing field? I'm curious to know at what pt is wealth redistribution Ok in your eyes-when the top 1% has more wealth than the bottom 90% combined? Do you honestly think Socialism & Communism helped create this level of grotesque income inequality in this country? Let's stop with all the right wing propaganda for a sec, and actually get real. Both political parties are pieces of ****, and are beholden to neoliberalism & corporatism.
No, education and hard work did. More people need to learn that, instead of screaming victim.

How can fiscal responsibility be subjective when the top 1/5th have 90% of the wealth?
You are so desperate to come across as smart, you'll swing at anything.

I didn't even make a comment on fiscal responsibility as you allege. I merely said fiscal responsibility is a beauty in eye of beholder issue. Each side has their "this is money well spent" talking point lined up right next to "this is wasteful spending".

Not to dissimilar from the "who is most important position" on football field or "what unit is most important"...blah blah blah.

For the record...I'm not sold that any single position is the most important (all things being relatively equal), but I do believe OL unit and DL unit if you have to weigh and measure value.
