Anybody else getting tired of all the haters here?

BTW, "Ignorant" fans don't use obscure Boer War references in their posts! So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Seems about 90% of the posters here truly hate everything about UM.

Shalala- Hate.
Blake James (or any AD here)- Hate.
Al Golden/Coker/Shannon- Hate.
D'Onofrio- Hate.
Kehoe- Hate.
Coley- Hate.
Swasey- Hate.
Steve Morris, the entire OL, all TEs, the entire D- Hate.
Any recruit who doesn't choose UM- Hate.
Any recruit who first chooses UM but then decides to keep his options open- Hate.
Any coach at any So Fla HS who doesn't funnel all his top players to UM- Hate.
All reporters who cover UM (Manny, Susan, Matt Porter, you name it)- Hate.
Dolphin Stadium- Hate
Any fan who actually doesn't hate any of the above- Hate.

I get we all want to win, and message boards are a place to vent. But ****, this is getting old real fast.

So you hate haters? You have some points and it is clear some posters are definitely obstreperous, but what I equally "hate" is throw away clichés like "hater" to label anyone that is disagreed with. I don't know if you understand how trite that is, it's so darn easy being a hater of haters. Please don't take this as correction, it's just a different point of view. Love ya!
LOL

The old "True Fan vs dem ingorant haters with no life" argument.

The last resort of the bitterenders.

The same case was made by the Coker holdouts, and just this t time of year in 2010 with the Radio diehards, after his exact same dissapointing season and total collapse in a minor bowl game.

There will be much fewer Golden fans about four games into 2014, I predict.

:)

If they don't see it now, they won't see it next year either. Denial is denial.

Having been one of the early Coker critics, I can tell you that the two situations (Coker and Golden) are in no way comparable. The state of the team at the starting point of each coach's tenure could not have been any more different.

Perhaps, MadCane, but the ENDING point and direction is very similar

you know whats funny man,

If you have a University who actually gave a **** about MIAMI FOOTBALL.. 90% of what you listed wouldnt be a problem here.

A president who does not micro manage +
An AD who has balls and can make a hire this University DESERVES +
Solid Coach who hires solid COACHES +
A real S&C guy +

Recruiting in MIAMI is what it is. That for **** sure will never change no matter who is coaching. Even Saban

The Miami media will always blow -
Stadium (see above) -

You know what's funny, man...

You and others act like the UM admin DOESN'T care about football. That's the stupidest **** ever. You act like you know what goes on behind closed doors, like you're on the Board of Trustees. GTFOH.

What's funny is that people who post that crap are too stupid to realize how stupid they sound.

Stupid? really? If you actually payed attention the past 20 years you would see the bigger picture

Who are the dumbasses that granted Coker the HC position? Who the **** gave him a big time extension? Who the **** hired within the program a second time by takin Randy? Who signed our life away with the Sun Life Stadium (25 years)? Who the **** gave Shannon an extension? Who decided to not renovate the OB? Who hired a ****ing coach from the MAC just by hearing his in person interview and seeing his binder for success and no statistical analysis of his teams? Who gave Golden a raise and extension till 2020 with out proving a god **** thing?!?!?!

That is just the ****in start! Im not even going to into why Swasey is here still and why our facilities are ancient and why we havent had a nutrition department that specializes plans for football till this year.

I will take a shot at the rest that hasn't already been totally debunked as just straight up aimless complaining.

If I recall we gave RS an extension because it was REALLY hurting us on the recruiting trail and most teams were using it against us, and to be honest it came after the 9-3 year and if he would have improved we would still have him.

I am pretty sure AG coming here from the MAC was a **** good hire, Imagine if we had started the season 2-3 yet finished the year on a 7 game winning streak? I mean lets not kid ourselves at 7-0 EVERYONE though AG was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He was given an extension because for one, he is/was leading this program through a very tough time, and the last thing we needed as a program in recruiting was a lame duck head coach to go with ALL the NCAA mess looming. I think up to this point he has done a great job getting this program caught back up to the rest of CFB. It probably wouldn't have take this long for him to build this program if he wasn't starting from scratch. He had to put a nutrition program in, he had to put a legit S&C program in. You think Gus Malzahn had to put those things in place at Auburn this year? That just show how far we were falling behind, we did not have the most basic plans in place, now they are and it is going to take time to get the depth in place.

Obviously, some of this is just my opinion. I am just trying to give you some perspective as to how bad it was, I think wome of us forget just how bad it was under RS. And just how close we really were to being a doormat. Lets not forget, our beloved program couldn't find a coach after we fired Coker. Remember? The job was open for a looooonnnnggg time, and heck at that point it should have been viewed as a pretty solid job. Yet we SETTLED for RS. By the time he was done we had no choice but to go for a lower level guy. Heck, look at the Texas job they thought that job was so great, blah blah blah, and then when the reality set in they got Charlie Strong. Just check the local boosters to find out how happy they are with that hire. Though I think it will turn out to be a good hire.

I alos have noticed that as fans, like two weeks after the NCAA mess was over we just expected our recruiting, team play, etc to be amazing. We knew this team had holes, lets open up one of those old posts. How many here really had this team winning more than 9 games? However once we started 7-0 everyone changed their expectations. Its all perspective, turned out this team was right about what we all expected, a 8-10 win team. Let alone most peoples predictions had a Duke Johnson waiver that looked like this "this is my guess as long as Duke doesn't get hurt, if he goes down who knows what would happen"

Honestly, what part of this program is in worse shape then when AG took over of RS?
Recruiting?
Record?
Access as a fan?
Overall thoughts by the national media?
Connections locally?
Camp circuit?
S&C?
Special Teams?

What is worse than it was prior to his arrival, other than most people attitude?

The only way to save the OB would have required an offer to the city of Miami way beyond what the school could afford.

Where is the fancy fundraisers when the OB needed her? ***** logic, I blame her.

I'm tired of those that claim the special talent of being able to read body language, hidden motives, agendas, etc. This is all CRAP. Then it's used to go off wild-eyed.

Citing records and stats are fine, but this BS is ridiculous.

Your probably not very good with the ladies if you can't read body language lmaooooo

Whoever came up with the term "hater" should be shot. One of the laziest and most annoying terms ever.

Board has been borderline un-readable the past few weeks.

This used to be a great source of inside information. The site is dominated by a few posters who will turn any topic into a toxic rant against: the defensive scheme, donofrio, golden, and all with an agenda.
I still think this is a great source of inside information, but I agree with you.

Exactly, you'd have to "***** logic" to take your stance.

It feels good to hate sometimes... Let me be.

I hate this thread!

kidding aside this is right on.

Like someone said trolls in control.

Mods- what can you do if anything?

If you support, can live with, can stand, or aren't ridiculously bothered at this point after 10 years of mediocrity....

Then I would recommend you find another team to root for or post on another board.

We're well within our right to be fed up with what has gone on with our beloved program over the last decade. Mediocrity has never been nor should it ever be the standard here..especially when we are privy to such a fertile recruiting territory in our own backyard.

So yeah....keep up with this Don Bailey Jr act. But I'd argue your type are the problem...not the other way around.

I agree that some here take **** way too far. If that's your issue then you shouldn't be on a message board to begin with.

That said, Miami fans are most certainly well within their rights to be ****ed the **** off. Don't preach to fanbase that has sat through **** for 10 years about being patient and trusting the process.

Them expressing their opinions...

You doing the exact same

It's a football message board either nut up or go read a book

Recommend Cane Mutiny....wore my Cane hat to the Gym today ( in Wilmington NC) to p.o. all the Heels after last night's beat down. Now that was fun.

Look, I tend to be a general malcontent about most things, but you're way off base here. There is no END here, yet. There is a BEGINNING and MIDDLE to compare.

One person's BEGINNING involved being handed the most talented team in history, the other's BEGINNING involved inheriting a trainwreck, the former coach sabotaging the incoming recruiting class, multiple defections and early departures, and a 2-year NCAA investigation with talk of the death penalty.

One person's MIDDLE involved a wasting of multiple years of top shelf talent, declining won-loss records each year, scapegoating his assistants and players, and a general malaise in the program, all without any investigation or sanctions over his head. The other's involved the opposite, improving record (I know, the schedule was worse), improving recruiting, first bowl game in 3 years, taking responsibilty for the direction of the program (not scapegoating assistants), all the while having an investigation and sanctions looming.

The END may arrive soon if Golden gets the PSU job, but you have to stop with the comparisons to scapeCoker at this point. You may be right in the future, but you're off base right now.
