I'm reasonably sure recruits and their parents frequent boards such as this, it's sad to think they may be left with the impression that our fan base is as classless as a few of these posters.

I've given some thought that the posters in question show up merely to trash other people, and may in actuality be fans from other programs intentionally attempting to present the picture that the entire football program is crap, and will stay that way for the foreseeable future

I don't need to identify them, but ask yourself when was the last time any of them said anything positive.

If they are not trolls they must live miserable lives. We should keep them in our prayers.

Show some self restraint and don't open the ones you feel are unworthy of your in-depth of knowledge of all things Cane because you obviously know better. Any recruit who doesn't choose UM- Hate.
Any recruit who first chooses UM but then decides to keep his options open- Hate.
Any coach at any So Fla HS who doesn't funnel all his top players to UM- Hate.
All reporters who cover UM (Manny, Susan, Matt Porter, you name it)- Hate.

I get passion, and wanting to win, and even being disappointed, but the irrational hatred and endless bashing of everything and everyone has now become like a game to see who can be more outrageous and extreme. Everything is an excuse to b*tch and insult the staff, administration, its beyond ridiculous.

OP's comment was actually pretty funny. Hate is a strong word, but I am sure there is some truth there. I think everyone on here wants the program to succeed. Everyone wants the kids to succeed. Some are optimistic. Some(like me) are depressed that we have:

-1 bowl win in the last 9 years
-That Kirby Freeman was the QB on that 6-6 team who led us to a 21-20 bowl win over South Miami High School.
-That our 2004 9-2 team's 40-3 blowout loss in the Peach Bowl to LSU was the beginning of the end, and the best team the program has seen since.
-That Brock Berlin has been the best QB since Dorsey. Sigh.

Some people are losing their minds, some are handling it classy, some are hopeless optimists. Different opinions man. We all want the same thing. For the program we love to be special again.
