Ice Harris got a job @ UM..BECAUSE he was one of the most respected guys in the inner city. He was a good coach, turned booker t into a good program, and was the community liason for um seeing as though dude coached @ almost every inner city school in miami dade and coached with or knows every single coach int he county. DUMBASS.
Realize now that COREY BELL ALSO got a job...and he coached @ Edison. Who did he deliver for us?.

Alot of **** college coaches, because that school is FLOODED every **** year....Al Golden surely cares about Booker T..as dude was going nuts for Eduardo Clements and screaming, calling him" O.T." in the media..and lettinf mTF*ckers know O.T. stands for OVERTOWN. Booker T is the only school in Overtown.
umm u kindly glossed over the fact that Brandon Harris wasnt the first son Ice sent to UM. Why didnt he get a job for delivering his eldest son Tim Jr to UM who was a track star for our university?.
It wasnt no coincidence....Ice was doing work in the community for years...and deserved that spot especially since randy was a do-do head and needed to mend some fences.
Just for the fact that the dude has Overtown kids going to school..and actually qualifying...he deserved a job. His kids **** near alwys qualify...and this is in the worst inner city in ALL OF S.FLA.(dade,broward,palm beach)

Does any other school in the US have to deal with local high school drama? Especially in as big a city as Miami? Do the boards of teams like USC (LA), Georgia Tech (Atlanta), Pitt and the other large city teams know their high school coaches by name and whether or not they have a vendetta against their coaching staff? I live in Nashville and I've lived in southern California and I cannot remember or remember seeing anything like this. Wtf

who has ice delivered us. even when he was here. he had a few select schools. he did not lock down dade county that is for sure
1. My grandmother has being doing work in the community for over 40 years. I'll let you know when the U give her call about an opening.

3. Lots of coach's have kids that almost always qualify from schools located in terrible neighborhoods.

5. And this isn't about Harris delivering kids. If you think that's the point, then you missed entirely. This is about Harris fostering an atmosphere at Booker T where it is ok to play games with the local school. It is ok to use the local school to leverage your spot and get yourself notoriety in order to secure offers from other schools because the UM offer will always be there. Does he need to push kids to UM? No, not at all. Does he need to tell them you shouldn't **** around with the local school? Yes. And it's very obvious that he does the exact opposite.

Arkansas just denied your commitment two weeks ago and they're still in your top 3. The coaches lied to you & gave you a non-committable but you're still heavily considering the school. The fact that you even have a top while you're committed is stupid. I just don't get it.

In some kids cases(Travis Johnson) you better still have a top while you're committed. DJ might be one of those kids because a lot of people(maybe even the coaches) for obvious reasons think he needs to prove himself anyway.

Jackson is a Basketball player who is now getting back on the Football field and has a lot of potential. Kid is raw just like Ansuh FROM Byu and was the 5th pick in the draft. Kid is from along line of defensive studs and his Uncle was a Pro Boxer. The kid got caught up in the moment and commited because he wasn't use to all this attention. Can't get mad at him for stepping back and weighing his options and seeing whats the best fit for him. Kid got offered by West Virginia first week of Spring so he has something kid was a natural in Spring Game and learning from Chad it's safe to say Booker T will have the best tandem at ends in the Country. Coach Ice is the truth, You Ignorant ppl don't know nothing bout him to judge him. **** Cyber stalkers getting in ya feelings like Um paid you to hate. Coach Ice loves his community and is helping his kids graduate and get in College. Who cares about you ppl judging a great guy you don't even know. Um deal with Booker T because they have one of the best programs in the Country and recuiters come from every where to get studs cause Booker T. Pushes them out every year. Getting fired was the best thing to happen to Ice. He was able to Coach his baby boy and Groom his oldest son to be a future Head Coach cause he is one ofthe best Young O.C'S in High School Football. I'm quite sure Ice will get another College Job and pass the program to his son. Some of you ppl need a life.
