Official Visit season begins next week, and Miami is building momentum with some key targets. Here are some things I'm hearing on the scheduled visitors and more:

- Miami continues to do a nice job recruiting DE Hayden Lowe (Los Angeles), who officially visits next weekend. He was already down here for spring and has a good relationship with Jason Taylor. The usual West Coast teams are involved, but it should be noted that Lowe is from the same program as Crisobal signee Kayvon Thibodeaux.

- CB Aidan Anding (Ruston, LA) is another name with traction. While many identify Texas as the biggest threat, I've actually heard Arkansas is the main competitor right now. This was a strong eval by Miami, as Anding has excelled on the camp circuit and continues to rise as a converted basketball player.

- If 2023 was the year of the OL and 2024 was the year of the DL, the 2025 class will be defined by skill. Miami believes this is one of the strongest WR groups in memory and they are in on a bunch. Dallas Wilson (Tampa), Vernell Brown (Orlando), Josh Moore (West Broward), Daylin Upshaw (Phenix City, AL), and Jaime Ffrench (Jacksonville) are just a few of the names to know. Tyler Williams (Riverview, FL) visits next weekend and is a major target. The CB class is not as deep at WR, but due in part to local ties and geography, Miami is in strong position for the top-of-the-board names like DJ Pickett (Tampa), Ben Hanks (Booker T) and Bryce Fitzgerald (Columbus).

- Miami continues to push for LSU commit CB Jabaree Antoine (New Iberia, LA). While his area is traditionally very strong for the Tigers, the staff is pushing hard in the event anything goes south with his commitment.

- One of the biggest stories next weekend will be the trio from Enterprise, Alabama- DE Zion Grady, LB Eric Winters, CB Andrew Purcell. Grady is the furthest along but Miami wants all three and will be working hard on their visit.

- The staff has been on the road doing in-person evaluations. Two names that really impressed- DE Tylon Lee (Milton, FL) and RB commit Girard Pringle (Tampa). Miami also liked the upside of massive, basketball-playing OL Jaden Wilkerson (Orlando). The 6'6, 330-pound tackle visits next weekend.

- Several freshmen and transfers arrived for the early summer session and have begun workouts. The name generating the most buzz- RB Jordan Lyle (STA). He is expected to make an instant impact. DT Simeon Barrow's professional approach, CB Dyoni Hill's speed and CB OJ Frederique's athleticism have also drawn raves.

Mario and staff need to keep targeting the Tampa/orlando area. Tons of talent that Miami has missed on for many years.

Typically this area is a stronghold for the gators and the $EC.

Also, I won’t put anything past Mario but going into enterprise Alabama to land a top kid would be another one that’s unbelievable if it happens.

That is 100% Auburn and Alabama territory. Kids from that area don’t leave the state or the $EC.

Those OOS CB prospects Anding & Purcell are very important IMO. We need 1/2 as insurance if we can't close on Pickett. I have 0 concerns on how we'll do with the trenches. For WR really want Dallas Wilson & Vernell Brown 🙏.

Lake called Dyoni Hill our #4 cb. Assuming Porter & Brown are 1 & 2. Who's #3 ahead of Hill? Is he projecting Powell as a cb?

Any chance Currie still visits?

I could be wrong but I think Enterprise leans more toward Auburn.

If u could get Wilkerson for cheap go that route...who ever we getting at tackle will be sitting 2 years so a guy with a good frame for development would be good.

I want MATTHEWS out of NJ in the class
*Maybe 2 years. Not saying they all will but Cooper, Bell and McCoy can all leave to draft before they even arrive and Francis, Samson and Kinsler will all be going into their 3rd year when this class arrives. Depending on how they do they may only be here 1 season with this class.
