Official Visit season begins next week, and Miami is building momentum with some key targets. Here are some things I'm hearing on the scheduled visitors and more:

- Miami continues to do a nice job recruiting DE Hayden Lowe (Los Angeles), who officially visits next weekend. He was already down here for spring and has a good relationship with Jason Taylor. The usual West Coast teams are involved, but it should be noted that Lowe is from the same program as Crisobal signee Kayvon Thibodeaux.

- CB Aidan Anding (Ruston, LA) is another name with traction. While many identify Texas as the biggest threat, I've actually heard Arkansas is the main competitor right now. This was a strong eval by Miami, as Anding has excelled on the camp circuit and continues to rise as a converted basketball player.

- If 2023 was the year of the OL and 2024 was the year of the DL, the 2025 class will be defined by skill. Miami believes this is one of the strongest WR groups in memory and they are in on a bunch. Dallas Wilson (Tampa), Vernell Brown (Orlando), Josh Moore (West Broward), Daylin Upshaw (Phenix City, AL), and Jaime Ffrench (Jacksonville) are just a few of the names to know. Tyler Williams (Riverview, FL) visits next weekend and is a major target. The CB class is not as deep at WR, but due in part to local ties and geography, Miami is in strong position for the top-of-the-board names like DJ Pickett (Tampa), Ben Hanks (Booker T) and Bryce Fitzgerald (Columbus).

- Miami continues to push for LSU commit CB Jabaree Antoine (New Iberia, LA). While his area is traditionally very strong for the Tigers, the staff is pushing hard in the event anything goes south with his commitment.

- One of the biggest stories next weekend will be the trio from Enterprise, Alabama- DE Zion Grady, LB Eric Winters, CB Andrew Purcell. Grady is the furthest along but Miami wants all three and will be working hard on their visit.

- The staff has been on the road doing in-person evaluations. Two names that really impressed- DE Tylon Lee (Milton, FL) and RB commit Girard Pringle (Tampa). Miami also liked the upside of massive, basketball-playing OL Jaden Wilkerson (Orlando). The 6'6, 330-pound tackle visits next weekend.

- Several freshmen and transfers arrived for the early summer session and have begun workouts. The name generating the most buzz- RB Jordan Lyle (STA). He is expected to make an instant impact. DT Simeon Barrow's professional approach, CB Dyoni Hill's speed and CB OJ Frederique's athleticism have also drawn raves.

Biggest adjustment for me moving from the north to the south was how nice the people are

Depends on what they want.

I personally would like to see one of the prospects like Tim Merritt, Mark Manfred, Graceson Littleton, Bryson Webber, Donovan Starr etc get that 4th spot. But obviously, the staff has who they have on their board & we'll see how that process plays out.

I don’t think CJ Jr is any more than a gadget player here, getting 5-ish touches a game. Fletcher isn’t playing this year no matter how much you wanna believe the coaches. (And you shouldn’t believe them for ****). CWH is very much a project. Allen is JAG.

Lyle being a real deal NFL back and that being evident from Day 1 would be MASSIVE. Martinez is gonna need some help. I don’t wanna see him carry it 250+ times.

Let’s put it this way: If 2024 Lyle is what 2023 Fletcher was as true freshmen, and that’s complementing a true RB1 upperclassman in Martinez, wheels all the way the **** up for this offense in every single aspect.
