Year 1 expectations for Butch and his staff

It should be noted that our schedule is easy next year. Only real OOC game is Notre Dame and we won't play Clemson. UNC will be tough next year but we can beat FSU

Chances are clowns like Golden Showers if he is still a Miami fan will turn on Butch or whomever is the HC by game 10. That is how bad our fanbase is.

If he's still at the point where he can't or wont hire innovative and talented coordinators like that Gruden to Miami crigga DMoney says Butch has been telling people he'll do we're screwed from the get go.

U guys think the roster is great me and what my eyes see is a slow *** roster. Are these miami recievers? Coley thats it. Are these miami OL 0....is this a miami backfield with speed? 0
R these miami linebackers beside grace? Are these miami db running 4.7's? Is this a miami dl with weak *** dts?

This my opinion it would take awhile the only one who would win instantly with a dt qb was chip but he wouldnt win a title cuz he cant coach d. So im not expecting anytjing till a roster overhaul.

You're making the roster out to be the equivalent of a 6 win team. Heck, I'm shocked we beat Duke AND VT in the same year!

Roster overhaul is about a 4-5 year process. You're really waiting that long?

Two classes

I dont see what everyone else sees, maybe that was on goolde but alot i mean alot of talent left sfla that would of been huge difference makers.
 
I didn't want Butch, and one of the reasons why is because he has to stack the roster to win big. I don't know why people are expecting a quick turnaround.

Only way I see that is if a philosophy change on defense turns us into a stout unit, but that could be offset by losing our top 3 CBs, and our best pass rusher.

This isn't a quick fix...

it would have been with an elite innovative offensive coach.

Instead we'll be losing to FSU and ND and wondering why the next Dalvin Cook doesn't wanna come here despite seeing a corny documentary.

There's a difference between thinking Butch is going to accomplish the necessary goals next year and setting those goals as reasonable expectations for the new HC. Personally, I don't see him winning 10 and the Coastal, but I think if he doesn't do that he's a failure.
 
Predictions are very premature until we see who is actually on staff. The staff will be the key to wins, Butch will be the key to talent.
 
Let's see who is on staff first, and which players are leaving. Too early to tell. I'd like to say ten which is what I posted in the WEZ, but this team has lots of holes, Oline, Linebackers, DBs if Corn and Burns leave. RBs are also a concern.
The defensive side of the ball is in better shape than the offense but there are lots of concerns

Corny doumentary? Are you even a fan?
Yeah, Butch never recruited players like Cook. (Clinton, Willis, Frank)
Too long ago? How about Todd Gurley who wanted to go to UNC and play for Butch Davis. Nah, we won't get guys like Cook...
 
We are talking about Butch Da Gawd here people. If Harbaugh can win 9 regular season games with a doo doo QB. Butch should be able to win 10 games and the weak ACC with Kaaya.
 
So let me get this straight:

Randy got 4 years.

Folden got 4 1/2 years.

Butch gets 1 year before the banners fly, according to Showers.

Makes sense.
 
Another thing people should consider is that the coastal will for the first time in a long time be more competitive. VT with Fuente and UNC aren't push overs. We will see.
