Don't forget the countless posters claiming then-freshman Stacy Coley was better than Sammy Watkins.

What should also be considered is the fact that the previous staff made far more egregious errors not only in the talent evaluations but more noticeably in deciding positional assignments. We won't even get into the wasted potential based upon schemes. Quan most certainly would've been a first rounder if he played for this staff or most others.

The last staff wasted a lot of talent for sure but unless al rented cars and punched his roommate, AQM made his bed not al. He had his chance to ball this year like the rest of the DL did. I wish him the best, but he gets no sympathy

Absolutely. But that's not what I mean. I'm simply discussing on field talent not off field issues. Strictly football wise Quan should've been a first rounders. Strictly football again Stacy should've been just as good as Sammy. Stacy's main problem is he's so fragile. But then again so is Sammy. I don't think Stacy could be better than Sammy but he could be as good. He should've always been used as he was in his freshman year. Special teams etc. He was misused & never allowed to get into the right weight & nutrition program. It's really a shame. Even jroc was screwed cause he had a horrible position coach who never taught him how to maximize angles. He should've been another Merriweather at the least.

Coley would never be Watkins due to speed and height. Watkins is an inch or 2 taller and a legit under 4.45 guy at that height. Coley is going to hit the low 4.5's or might break into the high 4.4. But i hear you...Coley didnt have a disappointing career here at all imo.

Stacy Coley > Sammy Watkins.... And im willing to bet he runs a 4.4 easily.

Dude clearly knows people/coaches inside the athletic department as well as players/recruits. he said Choc would be gone because he doesn't go to his rehab...which is a pretty logical reason to get kicked off the team. If him and CMR worked things out between then and now, I don't see the big deal. Things are fluid.
