The punching of the roomate situation was an overreaction by the administration. Didn't deserve the punishment. If I punched my roommate, I wouldn't have been suspended an entire year....and thats without the backstory that puts his actions into perspective.

Absolutely. But that's not what I mean. I'm simply discussing on field talent not off field issues. Strictly football wise Quan should've been a first rounders. Strictly football again Stacy should've been just as good as Sammy. Stacy's main problem is he's so fragile. But then again so is Sammy. I don't think Stacy could be better than Sammy but he could be as good. He should've always been used as he was in his freshman year. Special teams etc. He was misused & never allowed to get into the right weight & nutrition program. It's really a shame. Even jroc was screwed cause he had a horrible position coach who never taught him how to maximize angles. He should've been another Merriweather at the least.

The way our talent has been Mismanaged for years and the resulting "Miami discount" teams have been getting in the NFL makes me ******* sick. Jenkins and Carter will be the next two guys that some NFL team gets for pennies and beat out their higher drafted counterparts once they start getting pro instruction.

Golden and Shannon cost these dudes a lot of money, especially Golden.

Saw on twitter last night where the young man, talking about running thru a wall for Richt! Let's hope that he and a few others on that list stays. I too think the guy would be very good on return teams. I saw video from practice two years ago, his athleticism jumps off the screen, what I saw was what I saw from frank gore as a freshman. Not saying he that type of good, just seem athletic like him.

They changed the name but it's open. Blake Dever (Ahmmon Richards HS QB) did pretty well. I thought we was getting DeShawn Smith from Nature Coast Tech in Brooksville, Fla I think that kid went to jail for armed robbery. If they keep the coach Savannah State can be a respectable HBCU program.

he has gotten smart andcame down here and offered some prospects. Namely some qbs and stuff. Sav State can build a program if they really go all in on recruiting florida which is nearby and getting some div 1 transfers consistently.

Theyve been a doormat for years as even an hbcu...which is strange considering theya re in fla and are on the florida line.

Coley would never be Watkins due to speed and height. Watkins is an inch or 2 taller and a legit under 4.45 guy at that height. Coley is going to hit the low 4.5's or might break into the high 4.4. But i hear you...Coley didnt have a disappointing career here at all imo.

Great to hear, hoover. I'm with Vision that Choc is someone I'm pulling for. His athleticism is so obvious to me. And very frustrating he can't get it together on and off field, because while his production shows he's a bust so far, I think it's all mental with him. Hope the RS year gave him time to think and he's coming back for his Vision Quest year.
