Still recall FSU went after Duke AND actually succeeded. From that day on I have no respect for them. So I will say this gladly. ***** Milton and ***** all things FSU

Yeah - I'm not a licensed medical practitioner - but I think that leg bone is what's connected to that foot bone.

On the other hand, maybe had to break his foot off in some smart-aleck's ***.
I’m not a licensed medical practitioner…but that hasn’t stopped me.

What the **** happened to FSU? It amazes me how hard that program has fallen.

Miami went from dynasty to mediocre, and we’ve been clawing our way back. FSU went from crab legs winning a natty to absolute, complete trash in a much shorter time.

I mean has any program ever fallen faster and harder than FSU? I think they might win 3 games this year and they won about as many last year.

What the **** causes a program to crash and burn that hard? Miami went from all-time great to above average. FSU went from great to absolute horrid trash in just a couple of years.

How is that even POSSIBLE? Look at their team, it looks like they recruit midgets. You’re telling me they can’t find some 3-stars at least in Florida and Georgia, as deep as the talent pool is, and at least field something resembling a D1 team??

Blows my **** mind, really. Oh well. Their loss our gain I guess.
I also feel like we had sanctions during both of our downturns. FSU doesn't have that excuse.

I had a horrific leg injury similar to Milton's but it was caused by a Chevy Sedan when I was serving in special forces.. Took me 3 years and two major surgeries to walk somewhat normally and that in turn shifted most of my body, back, legs and hips to compensate which makes every day a painful experience. Besides the injury itself I now have to deal with 4 herniated discs, severe arthritis and a myriad of other injuries all coming from compensating for the injury or the injury itself. Long story short when I saw his injury I was shocked to learn he would try to come back, with that much damage one hit could mean amputation or total knee replacement at a minimum. I admire his courage but to be honest I believe his decision is a lot closer to just flat out being foolish. I hope FSU does the right thing and shuts him down permanently for his own good.

I’m wondering if it’s similar to Rusty Medearis’ injury. I understand his injury was similar to accidents with cars and involved very complex and invasive surgery. I also heard or read it was of such severity that it could have resulted in amputation. He tried coming back wasn’t to be.
Not surprised at the spinal problems derived from the knee injury. I have a very bad foot. Physiatrists and PTs have talked about the kinetic chain and how distortions in gait have contributed to some hip and back issues.
Hope you’re successful going forward in dealing with these problems. I feel for you. I go to a pain specialist for occasional injections, do PT from time to time, use non-narcotic painkillers when necessary.

they did it on purpose and they sill tackle the same way with the intention of hurting the runner.

on that night, i saw Duke in the tunnel through the bleachers as he was being carried back into the locker room. he was uncontrollably sobbing like a small child. it broke my heart, especially given how much he given to the program, and i couldnt get that image out of my mind that night. i could sleep

f@ck em all

F$U intentionally trying to hurt a RB, you say? Reminds me of Darnell Dockett to former Gaytor Earnest Graham in 2001. They’ve been playing dirty for years, may they go winless this year for all I care.

Couldn't happen to a nicer set of kids. Feel bad for Milton but this was understood that he was damaged goods physically.
His leg injury was so serious they thought about amputation. Not that surprised he is struggling. You have to admire his heart for trying to bounce back though. That must have been some strenuous rehab.
