So hiring better coaches and improving the overall talent doesn’t equate to being better?
Keep in mind that “better” is a relative term. So if we are slightly better thru the hiring of better coaches and improving our overall talent, then we are a better football program.
Being better does not mean being perfect. It literally just means better than before.

I don’t see how hiring position coaches and getting some transfers from other schools make us a better fb program when Manny Diaz is still the HC?? All of the schools with respectable cfb programs have a legit Head Coach. TRob is a more respectable name than Manny Diaz .... Hopefully him and any other good position coaches we have currently will still be here under our new HC.

He’s Starting to show that you might be right. He’s definitely managing this team better than any HC since the 90s. If this current staff improves evaluations, and there’s no reason to believe they won’t, we might be competitive nationally soon.

Was not a Manny fan and still not convinced but at least he is making an effort to fix problems in the off season. Something Golden and Richt refused to do. Hopefully these efforts show more promise this coming season.

I agree.

I know they’re replacing 5 stars with more 5 stars, but Jones, Harris, Smith, Waddle, Leatherwood, Brown, and ****erson on offense is A LOT of lost experience.

Then Surtain, Ray, Moses and more on defense.
