No Pena, No Haulcy, No LB, No DTs, No #1 WR…

Dennis was always the problem

Under his supervision all we got was Cam, Martinez, Barrow, Beck, an entirely new secondary etc

Now that that cancer is gone we have been cleaning up. Not sure if we gotta wait 4 years like we did with Manny to see if we are truly in remission
Not exactly. Dennis got demoted for very good reason. Frankly, I'm surprised it took so long to happen.

We had severe talent deficiency in the secondary and a terrible defensive play caller

We have a highly respected DC now (worst case, at least a different one) and we fixed our DB room

There’s rooms we can upgrade, but there’s no rooms as bad as our DB room was this past year and that plus Guidry is what stopped us from going as far as we wanted
Stating opinions as facts #101. Make it sound like anything to the contrary is stupid.

He probably will be but he doesn't have hardly any film to prove that
From his first half in the Pop Tarts Bowl, he looked to me like he had the best traits of any WR we’ve had here in awhile. Maybe since Ahmmon Richards. Pretty limited sample size though as you said.

They have a plan. No one knows what it is, not even them, but they have a plan. The patience and sunshine brigade got what they wanted. Now this season will rest on trader, toney, carr, moore, that lb room, and scott. Hope everyone stays healthy...
Then certain staff members act surprised when fans question their decision’s but hey..

That’s Mario’s fault then
100% Mario’s fault. Dennis did not effing get demoted. Mario is not a smart man. Anyone who has met him knows that. He’s insanely hard working, I respect him for that alone. But this is not the college fb of 5-10 years ago. This is big boy dollars and big brain power needed to operate a program. He’s got to give up control and let his little henchman move on to greener pastures

I’ve never met him but everything he does is slow

College football right now is moving at a break neck pace

This whole concept us fans have been force fed about trying to steer the titanic is infuriating when you just look around college football and see it doesn’t have to be that way

Goes back to Day 1 when people said it’s critical who he brings in around him and so far that’s not been successful

I’ll give him credit there’s been signs of positive change but it’s like everything we do seems to be more difficult than it needs to be

He has a guarantee 10 year contract no matter how poorly he performs and probably add another 3 if he wins 9 games this year. He's in no rush to do anything.
