You take that everyday of week and I would think the nike zealots on here who fight to death for brand agree alsoIf adidas will buy whoever it is for us, I’d say that matters financially.

Big if true but per his family, the decision was made a week ago. And per On3, he’s the first $1,000,000 RB.![]()
Pressure Mounts on Ryan Day After Nike Turns Down Ohio State's Bid for $1M Target - Report
Nike turns down Ohio State and Ryan Day's request for financial help in winning the commitment of a top prospect.www.essentiallysports.com
Yeah agreed, that’s a difference maker. I don’t like adidas personally because they don’t fit me well. I like Nike better as a brand. However, Nike won’t help pay for a player Ohio State wants. If adidas will help pay for players we want, well that’s the winner for me.You take that everyday of week and I would think the nike zealots on here who fight to death for brand agree also

Everything else is from an Ohio State writer who claims Tennessee offered him $5,000,000 over 3 years and Adidas sweetened the pot with $1,000,000. Not saying it’s not legit, but why is this coming from Ohio State? Is Adidas’ $1,000,000 a part of the Amabassador program or independent? When is Ohio State’s current Nike deal up?
Did I say that or are you making a scarecrow argument? Are you arguing Adidas is better than Nike for UM football because they’re more popular on the world soccer circuit???
What scarecrow? These are your words;Did I say that or are you making a scarecrow argument on my behalf?
What scarecrow? These are your words;
“Despite Nike spending way more on marketing, Adidas showing once again it's the more preferred brand right now. Adidas selling more World Cup gear.”
You’re arguing on a Miami hurricanes CFB board about adidas over Nike saying adidas is the preferred brand “selling more World Cup gear.” Nobody cares about soccer when it comes to CFB and quite frankly, we just saw Nike refuse to help Ohio state with nil to land a player. If adidas is willing to help us buy players in a similar situation where Nike won’t then literally just about everyone jere would go with adidas.
Strawman, not scarecrow.Did I say that or are you making a scarecrow argument?
I did edit this one too. I was unaware of the edit taboo thing here on CIS. I would perpetually fail at this one. Sorry.
Ok. Thanks for the correction.Strawman, not scarecrow.
Lol I figured that’s what he meant.Strawman, not scarecrow.
wait......the AI saying it's the same thing. I sense a new debate. Thread hijack has potential, good to pay bills.Lol I figured that’s what he meant.
Specify that you're talking about the logical fallacy, not an actual scarecrow. AI is like explaining things to a child.wait......the AI saying it's the same thing. I sense a new debate. Thread hijack has potential, good to pay bills.
So are you arguing we need more data centers?Specify that you're talking about the logical fallacy, not an actual scarecrow. AI is like explaining things to a child.
Right now I’m trying to figure out your gif image. If TOC can be Daniel Webster with a UM beanie, we can work with a scarecrow for you too lol.wait......the AI saying it's the same thing. I sense a new debate. Thread hijack has potential, good to pay bills.
Yes, you got it figured out. Nike needs a bigger data center. So are you arguing we need more data centers?
Not sure I am a fan of the data centers you seem to support.

Strawman, not scarecrow.
Thank you.In fairness, a strawman is a scarecrow.
Still, the term is "strawman argument". NOT "scarecrow argument".
