New Depth Chart Out

People need to relax about AJ and Rodgers being listed as starters. As soon as Deon is ready he is a starter and then the other spot, Jenkins just hasn't completely grabbed yet to be listed ahead of a Senior. Relax, probably a motivational ploy. I would be willing to bet the house that the majority of the snaps against U***g at safety will be played by Bush and Jenkins. As far as Tyriq, hes going to be a pass rush specialist from a variety of spots, dont get all doom and gloom over him not being listed on the depth chart.
We'll be fine. Cant wait to see 3rd downs with Tyriq, Gilbert and AQM attacking QBs like a bunch of wild savages.

i don't get at all these people who say rashawn scott is as talented as any WR on the team. if you take out the weird NC st game where he caught two 60 yard touchdowns because NC st didn't realize play continues even if the defense goes offsides, he averaged 40 yards per game with very minimal competition. dorsett, lewis, coley and waters are all easily more talented than him and while hurns is probably not hurns can at least catch the ball. people forget that we very nearly lost to GT because rashawn tipped up a pass right in his hands on the final regulation drive of the game (go look it up).

anyway between those other 5 WRs and two or three tight ends i don't think scott needs to see the field too often. definitely good for depth though.

I dont get it either. Dude drops passes, and there are WR who do thing better than him. I know he is a run after catch type but both Herb and Coley can do that better than him and I wouldnt be surprised if they catch better also. He is going to have to fight for a role now because I tell you what, a guy like Coley aint trying to look back.

This board is a big pile of sissies tonight. Holy **** the estrogen levels are off the charts. The Don said today that 50 percent of the spots will still be up for grabs after this depth chart is released. Sorry to interrupt the group pvssy fart.

I'm not worried. By the time UF comes around BUSH/JENKINS start at safety. Eventually Gilbert will pass Green and Coley will pass Hurns. Then, all will be right.

There might be nothing more meaningless in sports than pre-season depth charts in football. And yet, people act like they are written in stone like the 11th Commandment.

I still remember when Butch would list guys like Javon Rhodes as starting DE and by September he didnt do much except special teams....

I'm sure this has already been mentioned...but its not a good sign that Highsmith beat out Jenkins. I assume Kacy is only starting because Bush missed most of camp. smh

Maybe, but Jenkins has had all summer and two weeks of fall camp to beat out the other safeties. Hasn't happened. Don't think much will change from now until FAU. Some guys may get more time, but after two days off, its game week. Not time to try to win a spot. All about game preparation.

You are so correct. It's a depth chart.... Even if it was true, do people really believe the coaches wouldn't take players out if they were playing badly?
