Mark this down as the date Rick lost the fanbase

I still think Richt is a top tier coach who can win championships at Miami. Everyone is emotional after yesterday and I get it...but big picture it’s just one game.

Everything hinges on Richt’s willingness to make changes. You guys are so beat down from the Al Golden era that you’re assuming every coach is stubborn and won’t change his ways....but I believe what separates Richt from Golden is his abiliity to adapt.

We all know where the issues lie on this team: quarterback, offensive line, and specials.

Stacy Searles isn’t working out here. Hartley isn’t working out as ST coordinator. Guaranteed after this year we get a new OL coach and ST coordinator.

As for QB....let’s just pray Jarren Williams has what it takes.

It's your boy's THIRD SEASON! What don't you understand!:youre-nuts:

Regardless of if changes will be made which they probably won't. Richt adapts slower to things than that supposed two minute offense we saw last night.

The fact that many on this board saw these issues before he did doesn't bode well for Mork descisions making capability.

Many on here said that he needed to hire a dynamite staff in order to succeed at Miami and weren't happy with his staff decisions upon hiring but were willing to see it out.

Now that its obvious for everyone to see that he didn't make correct choices.

We don’t have the personnel to run his plodding offense. We have spread personnel, especially w light TEs. Sealed blows, can’t be all talent. Opponents don’t even need to really watch much film on us as it’s thebsame plays over and over and over again. Zero wrinkles, no scheme for opponent. Undisciplined play. Love the players, and Richt, however, his pride and stubbornness are killing us now. And pulling Rosier was sign of coaching scared. Perry looked dejected after. All his creation
Sabag does have the personnel to run any sort of offense he wants. And he doesn’t run anything remotely similar to Rick. There’s no personnel where Rick’s offense is the best option. It’s a horrific offense no matter who the players are.

I agree that he's SLOW to change, but he DOES make changes. He changed the quarterback - too late, but he did give Perry a shot. He changed the offensive line rotation - weeks after the fanbase had been clamoring for it, but he did make the changes nonetheless.

So I expect him to make the changes needed, but probably not until after the season is over.

I don't think the offense we run is suited to South Florida athletes. If your offense requires a thinking quarterback to function, or if your offense requires an elite offensive line because the plays develop too slowly or you run a lot of power, then that's not the right offense for the kind of athlete we get here.

I'd like to see us go to a spread system, similar to what the local high schools run. Fit the playbook to the athletes we have and the athletes we can get... not the other way around.

Our defensive philosophy is perfect for South Florida kids, and I'd like to see us do the same with our offensive philosophy.

Even Saban realized that college football was changing so quickly that he needed go scrap everything.

Rick talking about plays working 30 years ago? Talk about being out of touch good grief

Brother, not attacking your post or you.

I'm just in the mind set. That you game plan around your deficiencies. In doing so. You're cutting off many issue before they become a problem most times.

Perry should've never been in that situation.

Rosier should've never been asked to pass 40 times a game. When he is either late on every throw or couldn't hit the Willis tower standing right in front of it.

You build around the talent you have. Not try to fit square pegs into round holes and think the outcome is going to be positive.

I hear ya bruh, but I can live with a relatively raw freshmans on his first start away from home, on the road, at night, playing for a top 10 spot ****ting himself for a couple of series, but as a HC, need to have the stones to trust that Kosi is the guy, esp after last weekend. It literally screams that he sucks as an OC to not have called a better game to start to play to our strengths and to settle Kosi

No its NOT just one game.....It's multiple games against inferior competition.....Lol at he's Elite....
Is he Saban...Dabo...or...Urban???
No.......
Neither is anyone else people want. one of them also won in year 6 or 7. The other two are 1 and 1A with two of the most financial backings around. No **** he isn't those guys. Only other guy your missing in the whole game whose got one under his beat is Jimbo.

I wouldn't say that. Golden needed to go after game 3 of his first year. Rich can make some changes for the better by hiring a real oc with a modern offense. If he doesn't then that means he's committed to a pile of shut and Miami needs to move on plain and simple.

Wait is this PAR or Miami Nights? Or are you both the same person? I find that hard to believe.

Say you're successful with your crusade and it becomes so toxic that Miami has to fire Richt.

What's the plan after that? He's leaving with a massive buyout so we'll have no money to pay another well thought of coach (especially if he's got a buyout of his own to pay).

Don't say Butch.

Butch Davis is a football God!

I understand Perry started off really bad. I get that.

Once Rosier was benched for the freshman.....that’s it. Over. Rosier has MORE than enough slack to prove himself and he couldn’t.

If Perry threw 40 INTs last night I don’t care. He is our future, he has to learn sometime

And even beyond that, once Rosier came in and threw a bunch of typical ducks....he’s back out. No excuse not to put Perry back in at some point unless Rosier was rolling

I assumed he'd put Rosier in to give Perry time to think about what he'd done and get his mind right. Unless he scored twice, I honestly don't get playing Rosier for more than 2 drives. Maybe I'd feel differently if he'd left Perry in, but I really think I'd rather go down swinging with the kid you think has a future.

I remember thinking the same thing with Kaaya at Louisville. Might as well let the kid play, he's all you've got.

I thought the same. Richt might want to take some extra time and let him watch a little bit, go over things together, let him calm down.

Thought for sure Perry was coming back after halftime
