Longo hired as OC - Wisconsin

You think he's never going to get a job again?

Give it a rest. He had a bad year at a place that was a bad fit for him. What about all of the other years on his resume?

He'll get a job, if the ******* contingent of our fanbase would just shut their needy impatient mouths for a couple of weeks and let the guy get another job, without tipping off fanbases across the country that "Miami fans really hate this guy and will be happy to be rid of him".

Why can't we be like Michigan, and just let another program hire Gattis away from us? Because we have a lot of cvnty fans.
Gattis won't not get hired because of the fans, come on now.

We gotta wait until February for the NFL assistants to be open for interviews

until the music stops and Gattis doesn’t have a seat.

Yeah, because THAT is going to happen. He's neeeeevvvvver going to get another job offer...

Look, Miami has a lot of self-centered gaping-pvssy fans, who think that our ELEVEN MONTHS of dealing with Gattis are the end-all/be-all story of his life. The fact remains, he did pretty well before he got to Miami, and he may very well get back on track after Miami.

But every PVSSY Miami fan who CONSTANTLY whines about Josh Gattis is just making it harder for some other school to offer him a job. Maybe if some of our more black-hole-soul fans could just STFU for a few weeks, the situation could resolve itself.

But, sure, don't let me stop you from moping about how not one single program out of 131 Division I-A schools wants to hire Josh Gattis. Because our Mope Squad is a bunch of know-it-alls who know how every other personnel move is going to play out.

Pathetic.

I'm not saying that is the sole reason. But some of our fans don't have to complicate matters by whining like b!tches 24/7.

Hey, did Tennessee fans prevent Schiano from being hired there? So let's not pretend that there is NO precedent.

Again, if Michigan fans had whined like b!tches for months on their websites, do you THINK that the Miami fans would have been more opposed to Mario hiring Gattis? And I'm not saying that would have stopped Mario, as he did a lot of stuff under the radar. But it could certainly impact other schools.

Fans read the boards. Some of those fans are boosters. Some of those boosters tell ADs whether they feel that certain candidates should be considered. This has been going on for quite some time.

He’s had three bad seasons out of 4 as oc. Also the country has eyes. They watched our trash can oc ruin three qbs and produce nothing along w looking up that harbaugh put training wheels on his ***.

Miami went how many straight quarters with no TD? No TD in a nationally televised sold out night game, averaging what? 14 points a game? And we talking about the fans on the message board making it hard for him to get hired away when he should just be fired to begin with? Oh no sir, not today.

You really think an AD needs to get comments from boosters who have "heard negative comments" about Gattis on a blog? Any AD that is modestly competent is going to look at his record "let's see ... at Miami he couldn't get his offense to score a TD in 4 games". Pretty telling.

I’m glad he’s gone from the Acc

LOL ok, I'm on board. I was confused because I know we both think he's a great coordinator, so I thought maybe him not coming here was a sign that someone even better was on the way. But I agree, get him the **** outta the conference.
