Leach to FSU?

I wonder which celebrity kid he would abuse at FSU?
[/QUOTE]
To be honest it was not a celebrity kid. It was kid of a dirty player from the only team to ever get the death penalty for cheating. Don’t know about the kid but daddy was a smack.

You see Leach coaching tree guys all over the place starting to succeed

why not just hire the **** oak tree?

Will really push diaz and his offense will score points and Diaz better limit the damage.. and have enos or whoever is OC putting up points

Please God let this happen 🙏🏾

Leach HATES recruiting & doesn't believe in running the football or playing Defense, that's a Godsend for Miami.

You guys are selling way too high on Leach, he's a phenomenal offensive mind but he is NOT a championship caliber coach. He cares nothing about Defense & has no desire to recruit at a high level.

FSU's success is 100% contingent on having a great run game & great recruiting, the two things Leach has no time for lol.

We might be in trouble if one of Leach's disciples like Josh Heupel got hired there because he's taken the passing concepts from the Air Raid & mixed with a legit run scheme, just like Lincoln Riley.

You guys that are concerned about him going there are just focusing way too hard on the passing aspect of Leach & not looking at the full picture.

Look at the losses he's had at Wash St, whenever they play UW (you know a team with a Good Defense) that elite Offense of his disappears. Go check that 2017 season, Wazzu got STOMPED by Cal, AZ, UW & Mich St. In 2016, they lost to Eastern Washington (FCS) & Boise St, plus their annual loss to UW. In 2015, they lost to Portland St (FCS), Standord, Cal & guess who... UW.

Mike Leach isn't gonna change his stripes this late in his career if he goes to FSU, he's NEVER cared about Defense, running the football or recruiting, he just wants to coach & throw the ball 60-70 times a game lol.

This would be a MAJOR win for Miami, his Offense wouldn't be able to deal with our Defensive pass rush, it would be Wazzu vs UW all over again every year.

This would be the most interesting aspect if Leach gets a big time gig somewhere. His scheme is elite getting his two and three star rosters to compete, but if his lack of recruiting just translates to FSU or whomever signing lessor talent then they normally would it won't really matter because he'll face consistently better defenses with better talent. His classes at Washington State never improved from before he got there despite him having them ranked quite a bit.

For the record, I'd give him a shot at Miami, but it would be something to keep an eye on.

FSU is a dumpster fire. If you think Leach is going to recruit that program back to success you're crazy.

He'll think he can just out scheme whoever he's up against. And he'll lose like he does to a more talented, well coach defense like Washington every single year.
We have one more win than FSU , because we beat FSU and you trust to call someone else a dumpster fire? Leach WILL coach circles around Manny and you know it, so stop with the bravado.

Has Leach won some championships or something that I don’t know about? Like I get the offense part but the guy has lost plenty of head scratchers, never fields a respectable defense and is weird as ****
Did Jimbo win a championship before he was head coach?

Leach would get you 9-10 wins a year at FSU
But never making the playoffs bc they’ll always lose to Clemson and us but run up the score on everyone else

Dabo vs. Leach would be entertaining, but Clemson’s defensively minded attack would beat the Pirate every time.

"Leach can't recruit"

I'm sure I heard the same thing about Mullen. Miami, Florida, and Florida State recruits itself. Leach is going to recruit the best athletes he has ever had if he goes to FSU. He also knows what to do with them, offensively at least.

Mullen always had a good eye for under the radar talent though. His Miss teams were strong in the trenches and got some NFL beasts from there elite types

It will end like Sumlin at Texas A&M. The only difference is that Sumlin recruited at high level which Leach doesn't do. I wanted the Air Raid here but watching USC trying to finesse it way into the endzone only to get bullied by slightly more physical teams turn me away from the offense. We also won't have worry about fighting FSU for top RB's anymore.

Speaking of, should we be worried about Heupel’s name to FSU? I mean, he is in Central Florida, closer to that area.
