Leach to FSU?

I doubt FSU hires Leach, but it would be very entertaining.

Did you see how bad FSU’s defense looked on Saturday? If Leach takes over we can look forward to the Canes feasting on an even worse FSU defense for the next few years. Sounds like fun.

"Leach can't recruit"

I'm sure I heard the same thing about Mullen. Miami, Florida, and Florida State recruits itself. Leach is going to recruit the best athletes he has ever had if he goes to FSU. He also knows what to do with them, offensively at least.
Leach has NEVER recruited in his career, he simply doesn't give a sh*t about it.

Yall are trying to transform the guy into Urban Meyer, just look at his career, he's not some young up & comer, who he was at TTech is exactly who he is at Wazzu & exactly who he will be at FSU if they hired him.

He's not going to all of the sudden start recruiting elite 5-star DE's & DB's and fielding top 10 Defenses, he's NEVER EVER ONCE IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER done that, NEVER NOT EVER, NOT ONCE... EVER lol. Literally, NEVER.

He's one of the greatest Offensive minds in college Football, but that's where it stops, anybody saying he's going to hire an elite DC, or start recruiting at a high level is simply saying that because they are fans of Leach & want him here instead of FSU, but there's no truth to it whatsoever. He's NEVER DONE IT ONCE. Can't overstate that... Never lol.

Go ahead and hire Leach. By hiring Leach, you are admitting that you have ZERO interest in ever winning anything of note. You have no interest in being a competitive national program. Leach is the kind of guy that succeeds in a low pressure, low expectations atmosphere. He's a one trick pony, a coach that isn't interested in running a complete program. He doesn't recruit, outside of the two years he had Alex Grinch, hasn't had defenses worth a ****, and is so incredibly weird he alienates serious minded boosters and donors.

It's amazing that Leach and his agent consistently throw his name out, but no major school will sniff him. Ever wonder why? Exactly. If FSU had a competent AD, with competent leadership, they will look toward the mid major ranks, and avoid the splash hire(Unless it's someone like Meyer). FSU isn't the job people think it is, but it's a **** good one. Ironically, they are extremely similar to Miami, just with a larger donor pool(Which they don't successfully leverage)

Leach as a HC with someone like home Leavitt as the DC would be very dangerous... I think very highly of both of those guys

Leach has never had equal or better talent then his competitors.... FSU will give him a talent advantage over almost every team he plays...

He will also be able to attract top assistants, because this is Texas tech or Wazzu...

Those programs are historically among the bottom 10-15 in the P5...

If he is at FSU, he will make some trouble.

Leach doesn't have equal or better talent than most of the teams he plays because HE DOESN'T RECRUIT. He's not coaching at schools that have not ever had talent. TTU is located in a talent rich state, Art Briles managed to recruit to Baylor, but Leach couldn't get guys to come to TTU. Mike Price recruited well at Wazzu, but Leach can't get diddly squat. It's not the schools, it's Leach. No kid with a future wants to deal with that weird douchebag.

The only saving grace for Leach is more and more teams are adopting a spread-offense first philosophy, which almost always seems to mean the same team has a poor defense. See the Big 12 for an example. ‘Savage’ HC Tom Herman’s defense is awful, in his third season, with the same DC, and mostly his players. The Shorthorns have surrendered 40+ twice, and 30+ four times. The only teams they held under 14 points were LATech and Rice.

No he didn’t. That was Hal Mumme. Learn your facts
True. Leach is the one who took it mainstream though and now Riley is the one who is perfecting it.

EDIT: btw the original post doesn’t even look real. Looks like something someone pulled from one of these Twitter parody accounts.

Like how Mark Whipple and Kendall Briles were going to eat us alive?
Passing offense --- Washington State #1 ..... Florida State #37 ..... Pittsburgh #51 ... no comparison between Briles or Whipple and Leach. Wazzu is the ONLY team in the nation averaging over 400 yards passing per game.
