It's not Brooklyn's fault, it's just that there's no reason to get excited about the idea of silent commits.

I don't understand. Public commits decommit too. All the time. So the only time we should get excited about anything recruitingwise is LOI day?

Public commits bring momentum. You can get excited about it if you'd like. But obviously the day they sign their papers is the only day that matters. Not sure what's so hard for you to understand.

It seems that a lot of these players talk to each other. So if the other top players know they are silent to a certain school then its still building momentum with the recruits. Only thing it doesn't do is build it with the fans and the writers. Which probably doesn't matter much.

I think he overrated. I call him "Larry Brown" Surtain for a reason. He'd make a decent zone CB. But he don't glide 1 on 1 the way DJ Ivey did before his injury, or Blades, or Jobe, or Campbell. Those boys are effortless when they stick to the WR.
