I will root for my alma mater to win every game. If they happen to lose, I will root for that loss to result in the firing of this disaster that is supposedly coaching this team.

It's not in my DNA to root for a loss, but I **** sure won't sit idly by while Shalala and Coach Diabeetus ruin my child hood memories. I can't even remember the last time I felt good about my team and alma mater going into an off season.

Fly the banner, cut some throats and take no prisoners. You got a problem with that then you need a history lesson on what this progrum is built on.

THIS is not an unreasonable position. Its one thing to say, well, if we are going to lose, at least let something positive come from it. OR, ****, the season is already lost, we have a horrible record no matter what, Im not going to be terribly crushed if we lose the next game, as LONG as it leads to major changes that lead to improvement.

But to say, ONE game into the **** season, that you are going to root for us to lose until we change coaches, is simply B*TCH MADE, fair weather bullsh8t. DA F*CK kind of "fan" is that?

Can you guarantee we are going to go 6-6 every year from now til 2019? Did we go 6-6 last year? Or the year before that? Do you have some SUPERSTAR coach that is waiting in the wings ready to step in here and go 12-0 in year 1?

If Golden goes 6-6 this year, there is probably around a 25-30% chance he could get canned, and there WILL be a bloodbath on the staff. If he does anything CLOSE to that next year, he will absolutely be gone. So this is not an issue about 2019. Either way. Lets stop with the ridiculous extremes. What happens this season and possibly next will determine wether he is fired or not. And NO ONE can say for sure how it will all turn out.
 
There is no need to hope for our beloved Canes to lose. Al is taking care of that on his own. Maybe some are just interested in getting Al fired for some reason other than he is not winning. If so, then to **** with them. I think most of us want Al gone BECAUSE he isn't winning. If he won, we would love him.

The truth is, this staff is not good enough. They're mediocre at best. You can haul in top 10 classes year in and year out, but you'll always underachieve. Always. Last year was the biggest indicator of that. Ask yourself, what good does it do keeping this staff around? It's more detrimental to support this regime than it is to root against it. These fans aren't rooting against the U, they're rooting against a regime that is destroying it. A culture of mediocrity that has been slowly in-filtering and replacing our once powerful and unique mystique. This starts at the top, but I've digressed.

The fans who root for this team unconditionally are way more detrimentally in the long run, in my opinion. No one cares how loyal you are. You're afraid recruits will be turned away? This is the most asinine and silly excuse. Explain to me what good does it do to blindly support mediocrity? What good is going to come from letting Donna and the board members think the fans are perfectly fine with whatever they decide to give us? It works out well for schools FIU, FAU, USF, and UCF. This is who were are becoming. We cannot control what the staff does, What cannot control what the players do. Fans can only control the amount of passionate interest they have vested into this program and it's fading more than ever each and every day.

Blake addressed the media, because even the media is starting to realize nice guy Golden is not cut out for the U. No one is asking you not to be loyal, not to attention games, or continue supporting the team. That is your choice, but I also have mine, and too bad if you don't like it.

If Golden keeps losing, he will be gone. Ive said that about 500 times now over the last 2 seasons, which you just love to ignore so you can keep crafting more absurd boogey men to justify another hysterical meltdown over Golden. But this job also pays at the BOTTOM of the ACC. And a 6 year buyout, is going to cost the school a LOT OF F*CKING MONEY. The last time we ate that kind of buyout was Coker, and look what we had to settle for. My only point is, some of you better get real. If UM has to eat a 5-6 year buyout left on this guy's contract, you are SNIFFING GLUE if you think they are going to be able to afford some **** hot coordinator or big name to come here.

Dan Mullen and Schiano laughed in our faces and chose to stay at Miss. State and Rutgers over coming here. The NEXT coach, is going to be another roll of the dice. Second of all, I was 9 years old and didn't know who the **** Butch Davis was in 1997, so way to look like an idiot.

Lastly, your little "woe is me" routine where you talk down about our program as a way to justify keeping Golden on, only to turn around and lie by saying "I don't care if he's fired" is retarded. "Oh guys what will we ever do without him? We can't do better! You guys wanted Butch gone! Oh, but I don't care if he's fired, yeah that's it." Man up and say you support him, and stop dancing around it like a gaylord.
