I see that Belloti built that program for Chip to have the success he had. Strong had to build up Louisville from scratch and has to do the same at Texas.... completely different circumstances.
And plz don't say anything about Texas having 8 wins when Mack was fired. It was clear to everyone that Texas was no longer a program that can compete in their own division let along nationally, which is why he was fired.
You need to read more thoroughly.
Oregon was averaging 8.3 wins per season under Bellotti. That jumped to 11.5 wins under Kelly. This is a DRAMATIC increase and the results are obvious.
Kelly brought Oregon to another level, something Bellotti could never scratch.
Of course don't say that (about Mack Brown) because he was easily exceeding Strong's win total by a lot. Mack's winning percentage in his final 2 seasons (.653%) and Strong's winning percentage in his first 21 games (.429%). Mack was fired because he didn't have success anymore at UT. Strong is currently doing worse, by a lot.
