Can Golden Redeem himself on NSD?

Don't understand why Golden deserves credit for keeping a local recruit (Valentine) in the fold that until recently, has been committed for 6 months. The only reason Gaillard is in the mix is because of the predicament with Valentine. JC and Bo would obviously be amazing. In short, no.

How do you know galliard is only In the mix because of the tv situation ?They probably never stopped recruiting galliard. If anything the main reason He is in the mix because of the coaching change at Georgia. Plus golden gets credit for keeping any recruits like he gets criticized for losing them.
Well thought out. "Congratulations, Al! You got a commitment from someone who de-committed after being in the fold for 6 months. The only reason he waivered in the 1st place was because you flirted with Penn State. Great job!."

You're right. Makes sense now.

no idea what you are talking about. he gets credit for getting the kid to sign. a commitment is meaningless. the signature is everything. plus his interest to begin with is a result of the work of the staff.

not surprised

No, Golden can't redeem himself on NSD regardless of who signs. He can only redeem himself with results on the field. While recruiting is an important step to that, it's only the beginning

Add Njoku to the "Golden's in the running" list.

A month ago, I really wanted Njoku. Thought he was a beast.

Then Urban offered. Now I really, really want him.

Njoku isn't the blue chip player like the four from the OP.

This is true, but he adds to our African player pool, which in trending speaking terms equates to us having the market cornered on that continents top talent for years to come.

How about this, Golden lands one of the following from each letter, while keeping everyone committed here:

A.) Valentine or Gaillard

B.) Bo or Ross

C.) JC Jackson

D.) Lenius or better

Than Al can have his recruiting credentials back, but only this. All is not redeemed though.

Recruiting is the place where Golden has to win.

Dorito isn't a good coach, but if you give him All Americans at every position even he can't **** it up.

Coley is ok, but has the excuse that he's learning. Same applies.

We need to watch out for hut agent Abimpola Azikiwe. He's steering African players to SEC schools.

A.) I'll take either. Both and I'm going on a massive bender.

B.) Not an equal trade. While either will fill a need; Ross is not on the same level as Bo.

C.) Want

D.) Haven't seen on film yet so I won't comment

While we're at it, let's congratulate every father who pays child support.
I take care of my kids!

We need a big QUALITY RB. That is why I put the players in B together. If given the FICTIONAL option, I would choose Bo.

The kid that has been committed to 3 different schools? No credit given for landing a 5 star? I forgot. He's a local kid, they should just be beating down the door to play for this dying program. After all, we won a lot of games in the 80's.

It's never Al's fault.

The Cloud, bro. The Cloud!

He redeems himself when he stops giving up 500 yards to Duke and wins this **** filled f-aggot laden conference of ours. If those are the guys he needs to do that then so be it. I don't care if he goes out to the intramural fields and gives out schollys, as long as we achieve the aforementioned.
