Can Golden Redeem himself on NSD?

Let's say we land 2 of: VT, BO, JC and Gilliard

Could this at least shut the door on the PSU mess?

I think I could give him a pass if he lands 2 of those 4. His coaching is a separate issue.

He lands 3 out of the 4 and all would have to be forgiven.

2 out of 4 gives him a pass until Spring practice.

4 out of 4 and what PSU mess would you be speaking of??
 
If he lands TV and/or a suitable replacement ie LG plus one of Ross, JC, Bo or any other stud that might sign, then yes. Also he needs to hold on to everyone else.

4 out of 4. He has to make up for Dorito too. As a matter of fact, there better be a surprise in there as well. J/k, in all seriousness, the only thing that will make me forget the Penn St and Louisville mess, is at least a coastal division title with a post season win. Not asking for a miracle, just success that we can be proud off.
 
If we somehow manage to get Valentine back and beat UF in what appears to be a head-to-head battle for JC, then I'd be ecstatic.

Steal Scarborough from Bama, which is admittedly as unlikely as it gets, then I'd be over the moon.

But if we don't land any of those four, it would be an extremely disappointing close for the second straight year. That would be difficult to forgive.
 
Don't understand why Golden deserves credit for keeping a local recruit (Valentine) in the fold that until recently, has been committed for 6 months. The only reason Gaillard is in the mix is because of the predicament with Valentine. JC and Bo would obviously be amazing. In short, no.

last year, we landed jermaine grace and stacy coley. Coley was our best offensive skill player for the last 4 weeks. wasnt the finish we wanted BUT we got two guys we needed.

How do you know galliard is only In the mix because of the tv situation ?They probably never stopped recruiting galliard. If anything the main reason He is in the mix because of the coaching change at Georgia. Plus golden gets credit for keeping any recruits like he gets criticized for losing them.
 
Bc it's not USF courting VT it's ****** LSU. Anytime we can get a kid that has high interest in an SEC school is a plus for us. People tend to forget we have been merely irrelevant for 10 years. It is absolutely a big pull to get him.

Add Njoku to the "Golden's in the running" list.

A month ago, I really wanted Njoku. Thought he was a beast.

Then Urban offered. Now I really, really want him.
