Miami is not making it back to elite status with shireffs or rosier. I could be wrong but i doubt it. The fact neither guy has locked down this job yet is very telling.

People said we were in deep crap if Kenny Kelly went down. How'd that turn out?

I swear people have the strangest remeberence of Ken Dorsey in high school. His tape was ****ing awesome.

We're so desperate to have any "good news" on the QB front that we're taking a comparison of a guy with no P5 offers to a guy who's best college offer was a terrible Memphis squad as being some kind of positive?
Ryan Williams ONLY played at Miami because Golden and his staff were TERRIBLE at recruiting QBs. We were desperate for another arm, and Williams was a SoFla kid who wanted out of Memphis because they changed their offense.
And speaking directly to the comparison ... It would be **** near impossible to be less athletic than Williams was, so I'm not sure why that's seen as a compliment.

And yet Dorsey was this 6 star mega every thing talent...... chill people
For those that actually know...what kind of arm does Shireffs have? What does it compare to?
My comparison for Shirreffs is an athletic Ryan Williams, and I mean that as a complement.
Could you elaborate on that comparison a bit @DMoney? Only because as a fan I never got to see Ryan Williams in action either so it's difficult to get a feel for what a "more athletic" Williams would actually look like... So what exactly have you seen this year that Sherriffs brings to the table?

Friend, the last guy I remember being this insistent about anything was FullyERicht on el jefe. Now you've not reached those levels yet, but have mercy on us and chill a bit on the doomcasting.
Miami and UGA interested in emerging QB prospect | College recruiting blog
Posted this darn near 2 years ago. Kid makes a LOT of throws down the field. A lot of throws down the middle of the field, with confidence. Excellent PA pass ability. Not afraid to run the ball if he has to. He has the tools, and smarts, to do really well here. Also, he'll have the most talented skill position players we have seen at UM in many, many years.
Whoever wins the job will be surrounded by a wealth of talent, and I believe all of them can do well.
Yet, no other P5 or G5 school thought him worthy of a scholarship?
You and James Coley must be the only guys with an eye for QB talent ...
Some names in that article might ring a bell.
“Miami wasn’t at the game, but word got out about Evan,” Jefferson coach Ben Hall told the AJC. “Miami had a kid de-commit from them, and I think they had two kids transfer out of the program. I think they might have been in ‘scramble mode,’ and they found about Evan.
