That would actually be perfect because the second Richt decides to hire an OC (Not saying he necessarily needs to) I'm sure Dorsey would be chomping at the bit. He wouldn't even have to move.

It's funny how virtually every single player that has ever played for Butch Davis the God does nothing but sing his praises, however here in Canesville there is a significant portion of the fanbase that hates him.

It's quite comical. Kinda like when Rob Little makes fat jokes.

I don't know that they hate Davis, they just see it as another opportunity to take cheap trashy slaps at other Miami fans who respect Davis. Just like some of the pro-Davis blowhards take cheap shots at Richt because they know how it grates on the nerves of the other camp. Do they really hate Richt or is it just an extension of the back and forth with other fans? A certain portion of Cane fans love to trash each other. The Shannon/Golden war is long over and the old soldiers are looking for a fight. For the rest, the whole thing is just annoying.

Butch deserves credit for taking on a job no one wanted + being one of the best recruiters of all time. And at the same time, he was a good game day coach.... not great

The thing I'm not understanding is that Butch was supposedly already assembling a staff for our job yet gets a job and is inching on it becoming an embarrassing effort to assemble a staff. Obviously they're two different caliber of jobs (despite some delusions here of what he can accomplish at FIU) but you'd think there would be some crossover if he truly already had a list of coaches ready to go.
