Brad Kaaya

Yep, I know. That's the point I was trying to make before his junior year. Although I don't buy the lack of recruiting as an indication that he would never be a good QB, there are too many examples to refute that. I do agree that Brock's UF win was probably the most impressive win the program has had since that time. I'll never forget the atmosphere of that game.
as flawed as Rosier is he won us two clutch games. he beat two top 15 teams. Wisconsin wasnt his fault. that first int was because KC missed a block (not surprised) so i cant sit here and say Kaaya was so great when Morris did more than him on a bum leg. people forget, morris lost 4 games at the end but Duke, Coley, and others were out for the year. Same people who think Kaaya was so great also thought Perry was coming in as a true frosh and dominating. its not kaaya's fault, he was overhyped by golden. If golden was as creative with strategy as he was with excuses, he'd be nick saban

Did we have the talent depth we have now or last year for that matter? Our O-line was horrifyingly horrendous while Kaaya was here! Even last years line was better. A bunch of Y’all tripping!
We had more overall talent at RB and TE....the only real difference was the O-line being slightly better...SLIGHTLY. My man couldn’t even comprehend the RPO correctly...even though Rosier had a ****** completion percentage and over threw balls he still delivered it to the right WR. Kaaya would get the completion but the WR wouldn’t be able to do anything with it.

I know a lot of people say if we had senior year Brock we would’ve played for the title but reality is Stephen Morris or Scott Covington probably would’ve done it too.

Pretty much the whole board. It wasn't until late in the Brad Kaaya saga that people started to flip on him.

KrazyCane a few others and myself were odd men out going up against the mob.
The problem though is no one puts things in context. Anyone who genuinely thinks as a QB(not a playmaker) malik is an upgrade over brad im sorry but im gonna exclude you from any logical conversation. The facts are our TEAM is significantly better last year as well as now from at any point with brad, alfraud & no d. On top of that our schedule last year to go along with significant injuries at the time we played some of the better squads(part of the game) were more of a reason for our record than qb play. Our defense isnt even in the same stratosphere as it was at all points under no d except when he was forced to play onions system. Main problem we had under him was coaching & play calling. Im sorry but its a fact that jessica beil couldve been our starting qb last year with the back up being whoever qbs for our intramural squad & we wouldve got those same results. We all knew the defincies brad had mainly he was one of the biggest ******* ever in the pocket & terrified to get hit. But as far as a qb & getting the ball to our playmakers you cant compare malik to him. I STRONGLY doubt we were any worse than 11-1 last uear with brad. That loss being to clemson cause our o line got owned & we know how that works with him. But no chance in **** pitt beats us or that hick *** wisconsin squad.

I missed the middle list. Erickson, Covington, Morris....
Erickson is on the middle list? lol. He won a National Title. That dude is on the top tier list. Why doesn't Craig Erickson get respect?

Rosier was throwing behind receivers all the time last year. Take Berrios for example making incredible catches that were thrown behind him. It’s ludicrous to think that one more year under Richt’s tutelage wouldn’t have help. We’re just lucky we had an outstanding defense last year that got us the ball back a lot, because if not we would’ve lost all those close games. No doubt I want Rosier to succeed but to say he’s better than Kaaya is nuts because the jury is still out. Let’s see what the 5th year Senior can do.

You’re the focking man Brooklyndee!!!

right. Covington had a good senior year. I was hard on morris but he played more hurt than we knew and is clearly better than Kaaya.

Because I'm an idiot. I thought the same thing when I wrote it but decided to pad the list. My fault. Erickson is bumped up to the 1 list. Lol

Just saw the highlight of him in INDY where the snap was too high and he couldn’t recover the fumble.

Had me thinking about how far he has fallen from analysts saying he was a potential top 3 and first rounder a few years back to where he is now.

Can’t even make a team as a backup. Yikes!
Kid played 3 years here, why the Kaaya hate?

So are people here still thinking that rpo means the qb runs? How is having audible responsibilities and faking a hand off out of any qb’s ability that wants to go to NFL?

You make a cotdam strong argument.

I’m not even sure if I agree, but your argument is a strong one. Bottom line, it’s all hypothetical anyway. Nobody really knows what would’ve happened.

I do know this, this is one of the most bullshlt threads ever on CIS.

The majority of posters here are bunch of ungrateful cūnts taking a shlt on one of our players. Ask yourselves why?

Everything posted here has been pure speculation, with no way to prove any of it. Who knows if we’re better worse or the same with BK.

But I do know this. He was a real Miami Hurricane. Like Brooklyn Dee but unlike you ungrateful cūnts.

Why an 8 page thread of mostly speculation, most of it taking a shlt on the guy that actually play in the field for us?

We even have mods bragging about how they were the first ones to take a shlt on him.

Go stand on the 30 yard line of Hard Rock, take a pair of pliers, reach into your mouths, and yank a fūcking molar out. Then I’ll respect your opinion.

I like having Malik more than Kaaya. Kaaya was soft af, didn't seem like a leader, and stephen hawking has better foot speed than Kaaya.

I also thought it was real weak of Brad to go pro early never beating FSU or even having a signature win. Basically F Kaaya. Moving on

To all those suggesting we would've been better last year with Kaaya, I disagree as well.

Dude had a far better OL than the one we fielded last year. His sacks would have been astronomical and the offense would've had to remove all of its QB running plays.

Malik beat the weakest FSU team out of the last 5 years, lets stop pretending that he played well that game.

Rosier's stats vs those 2 teams:

30-66, 456 yds, 5TD, 4INT
113 yds, 1TD, 1 FUM

We were a pass to run team last year, with a super inaccurate qb. Not gonna say Brad was good, just he would have done better than Malik last year. I wont argue about Brad's leadership, but i dont see Malik as any sort of step up from him.
They’re completely different players. Who’s to say we beat VT without qb mobility, or lose to Wisconsin, or anything. I think they both have big pluses and bite warts. The difference I think will be the extra two years Malik put in on campus compared to Brad leaving early. If that’s vice versa I think Brad grows up and goes Day 2 in the draft.
