Well that is what I thought. It's coming out that was not the case...Funny is he told me this again at Jr Day..me and another coach. So if Al was blind sided....that's tough. But a 1/2 Mil talks

Surprisingly enough. Genron isn't lying..... However, it is definitely possible that wasn't communicated to Golden. High maintenance wife and high maintnence life=highest bidder wins.

Common knowledge that the guy they had a press conference for (still haven't even had one for the OC) and handed the title of Associate HC was going to leave after a month? LULZ.

Where did Genron make this claim that Fredo would be gone by spring and get blasted for it?
 
I eateth the crow. I didn't question his move to interview, as I thought it would be smart of him to see what options are out there (never believing he'd actually up and leave, especially after turning down better offers to come to UM). To me, this is inexlicable, taking a job for a month only to bolt?! I guess I understand from a financial perspective and never expected him to stay beyond a single year, but this is just irresponsible. I'm thinking he's burned his bridges at UM and won't be back for a long time, if ever.

I know it may be farfetched to think its not true, but from what I gather Fowler from CBS broke the news that Alabama hired Cristobal and said "per source" Everyone else either retweeted him and added a comment or gave him credit in the articles they wrote. Just think it is kind of odd that it is Tuesday and no official word from either school yet. Very good chance that it is announced officially soon. Just pointing out that it all stems from basically one guy

Barry Jackson wrote that people close to cristobal confirmed he was leaving.

Maybe the delay is a power play attempt for either more money or more responsibilities at miami? I doubt it and the damage has already been done so as I said before whether he goes or stays **** him.

The minute I read that post I went and searched his post history and it resulted in only 7 posts. So if it was on this forum, it had to be under a different name. I don't know if this guy is the real genron or not, but I did notice after re-reading his post that he claimed that he said the very day Cristobal was hired that he wouldn't be here long, and then cited a conversation that he had with Cristobal the day after he was hired as his reasoning for making the claim. Just sayin.

BTW, that could have easily been a typing error, but after seeing so many trolls, I'm just always skeptical.

I do not know that. I know I read comments supposedly made by him that stated Coley was going to UM. But maybe he was going to UM despite Genron's best efforts to steer him to fsu if, in fact, he was close to him.
