Benedict Cristobal is gone

My god....this **** never ends. I honestly wouldn't have hired the guy unless he gave me his word he wouldn't leave before signing day 2014. Why even go through the trouble. Stupid really.

Honestly, you can't blame the guy. You guys may not want to admit it, but the UM TE coaching position is beneath him.

More like f*cking CrystalBall if this is true. That would be the ultimate **** maneuver, and save me all the "he can't turn down that sort of raise" or whatever other horseshyt anyone wants to toss out there. You don't take a gig at your alma mater and then start looking around for another one a month later.

I really hope this isn't true because, if it is, he's a gaping ****.

Well....if he leaves for Bama for another "position coach" job, then he can suck my ******* ****. I would think this would burn a possible bridge of him coming back if Golden departs.

At least I hope it would.

Poor stuff right there. It wasn't "beneath" him a couple weeks ago. He's also the Associate HC here. So f^ck him and anyone else who thinks this is in any way a legit move. Like I said, if it's true, then this might tell us all we need to know about him and why the Frito Bandito rung him up at fiu.

I'll I'm saying is I didn't expect him to be the Miami TE coach for long. He was either going to be promoted or I expected him to bolt.

That bridge would be completely incinerated if he pulls this. In fact, even if he's interviewing, I'd say that bridge is on fire already.

Couldn't agree more. It's not like the Golden rumors every time a HC job opens up. Golden may be on people's short list but I don't remember him traveling to interview.
In a lot of companies if you interview at your competitors your current company will look down on that if not outright fire your ***.
Aren't the Canes just starting Utough right now?

Just unbelievable that a "Miami guy" would start traveling to interviews for lateral positions before he probably has picked out office decorations for his current job.

Correct.

I don't think anyone expected him to retire as the TE coach/assistant head coach, but I think we all expected him to last more than a month before he started thinking the grass was greener.

I just didn`t want him to leave before NSD. Now I don`t care if he stays or not.
