Kliff Kingsbury is a 36 year old who has been miserable as a HC. Yea, sounds like the perfect recipe for success here! Are people really this dense?
At least it's not the typical Miami guy bro. Not a big fan but we at least we are moving in the right direction if true. Now let's move up a level and see if Gundy, Patterson or Mullen want a change of scenery

I'm just glad we haven't heard the name Curtis Johnson yet. I guess even his former player friends realize it'd be embarrassing for them to even mention him. Bernie is probably still trying to sell Trestman though.
This. Appreciate the info D$. Nothing to freak out about. The committee literally threw out 40 names to Korn Ferry. He might be one of them, quit freaking out. I guarantee he doesn't want to leave his alma mater. That would be like Mario as HC here leaving for Arkansas or something random like that. God forbid Mario get this job like I just joked about...
Names like Bielema, Mora Jr, Fedora, Stoops, Rich Rod, etc are coming up too. I would just say Kliff is in that category of random names they are looking at.
Get him a good DC and put him with the Miami talent and we would be legit. Better than Mario for sure, but at this point in his career it's a no go. But what is he like 35? He's going to ride out TTU as long as he can, he's getting paid well anyway.
This is definitely NOT an endorsement from me, and I've heard nothing to indicate this guy is a leading candidate or anything like that. So there is no need to overreact.
But a plugged-in source told me to keep an eye on this name, and the candidate has ties to Vilma (from the Jets) and Testaverde (from coaching his son).
Kliff Kingsbury, Texas Tech.
If they are going in that sort of direction, then I would prefer Dino Babers or even the Toledo coach.

Yikes. I'd roll with Willie Taggart over Kingsbury. Why is this necessary? There are better alternatives.
