This is definitely NOT an endorsement from me, and I've heard nothing to indicate this guy is a leading candidate or anything like that. So there is no need to overreact.

But a plugged-in source told me to keep an eye on this name, and the candidate has ties to Vilma (from the Jets) and Testaverde (from coaching his son).

Urban Meyer runs the spread, Nick Saban runs some spread, **** most NFL teams run a variation of the spread.

Spread is spread . Just like pro is pro. It's called spread because it's a spread formation. You said spread , be more clear wtf you're talking about.

You have run heavy spread with power elements , and you have a finesse spread that uses horizontal passing as the running game. Just like there was finesse pass happy pro style offenses and power run pro styles.

I personally like physical football , not a big fan of finesse style .

I know that , but dummies on here keep painting all spreads with the same brush. They put them under the same umbrella, which they aren't .

Ohio state is a spread offense , so is TT. Just different styles of spread
