The reality is, if you’re a competitor you’re supposed to think you’re the best…he’s delusional but he’s supposed to believe that he’s the best
Already my favorite player ever and that would have put him even further on top for me. Loved watching the greatest show on turf.Shady was good but not all time. The one we could have had that hurts to this day is Marshall Faulk. Blame Dennis Erickson for that one.
I guess people forget Chuck Foreman and OJ Anderson....among others. If we’re talking college only:
Edgerrin James
Willis McGahee
Clinton Portis
Duke Johnson

LeSean McCoy
If we’re talking NFL only:
Frank Gore

without question.I remember watching freshman Gore and I still think he's the best talent we've ever had back there.
I came to CIS to post about this. Saw the thread already up and was going to post "CTE", but readied myself to search a few pages for it. Was instead thrilled to see it was the very first response. Truly, great work.CTE.
I thought I saw a video recently with Faulk remembering Erickson saying he couldn’t play RB at UM and only offered him as a DB.I thought he went elsewhere because he was afraid to fly? Might be getting him mixed up with Ladanian Tomlinson, who was a huge Canes fan too.
Probably so, I'm probably getting somebody mixed up with him.I thought I saw a video recently with Faulk remembering Erickson saying he couldn’t play RB at UM and only offered him as a DB.
I would dare to say the OJ Anderson was better than Shady too. I don’t remember OJ winning any Super Bowl MVP’s!
Oops meant to say Shady! I watched OJ single handed destroy the Bills in that super bowl!!!
Is that Al Golden?
Wouldn’t surprise me. Seems like a Pepsi guy.Is that Al Golden?
