Textbook Inside-Out release, then going up & getting it for the backshoulder fade.

He's a very good hands catcher that highpoints the ball & gets it at its apex. He doesn't really run the full route tree, it's mostly just 9's & 8's, with backshoulders in the Red Zone.

But I like his running ability, he's a big play big catch WR with wide catch radius.

I don't think he'll have a problem getting open on the next level, added weight & strength with only help with his natural ability. He excels at stacking DB's on those deep fades, didn't see too much stemming though.

But he's a good pick up IMO, between him & Ty Evans we have 2 go up & get it high upside WR's that can play Flanker or Field. Wingo is more Field to me & Evans is perfect at Flanker as an Isaiah Horton clone.

Wingo reminds me of Josh Kelly, smooth route runner with burst & ability to climb the stairs to get jump balls down the field.

Not the greatest competition. They played AHHS in playoffs and Nease in regular season. Columbia ( Lake City ) was way below their normal talent . One of their more mediocre teams. They also played Mandarin but they’d lost their qb T Jones at that point. They had a Fr qb filling in. But there was also a lot of bad mixed in. Their district was awful this past season.

He played against Mandarins dbs. Not on o. So they did have i would say solid group with Nease, AHH, and Mandarin, like you said columbia usually is good to not sure if they fell back, Palatka use to be good:

Here is Mandarin dbs last year:
a guy we remember

a guy we know

It’s been awhile since his name has come up … i thought the ship had sailed.
I thought I read he said his agent will help him pick his school. I could be wrong so it sounds like we met whatever the # was. But I may be wrong on that

Great write up. Wingo is a very solid addition.

While people continue to trash our WR recruiting, consider the last 3 classes:
Trader - ranked 70th overall player
Carr - 98
Spafford - 131
Wingo - 170
Robinson - 185
Moore - 193
Toney, Upshaw, and Evans - 3 star guys with a lot of juice, especially Toney

While we are still missing the true WR1 (at least on paper) this is a pretty solid 3 year haul. There are 6 top 200 players on this list and a diverse range of body types and styles. There’s other positions that deserve a lot of criticism (DT and Safety, I’m looking at you) long before WR.

Wait I never said he was my height at 6"3 I said he's right there with me, But I'm saying close to me maybe 6"2 but he does have dreadlocks so maybe that distorts it a bit. Regardless he'll be by the house at soon as I touch back down. I'll ask him them but for now I'll let him enjoy his moment.
Keep us updated, thanks for your insight

We had 3 undrafted WR's on our roster last year & had the #1 Offense.

If you have a good QB & wide open Offense, WR's are interchangeable.

WR production in college is mostly manufactured by the system they play in.

Yup. That’s why I’d highly prefer to save the NIL funds we have dedicated to Keys and go back to some of the 4/5 star DTs we missed on and make them an offer they can’t refuse

I’ve been staring at this for 5 minutes trying to figure out what each grouping means
Yrs elligible for 2026 season. Left 1 season, right 4 seasons. Just assumes Upshaw gets RS while Moore and Toney don't. Also just assumes everyone with eligiblity returns.
