Looks like sheriffs has the edge now.

What's all the hate on Rosier?

Im not a fan of either. But richt wants somebody that will take care of the ball and rosier can't be trusted to do that.

Rosier can't be trusted to do that, you're right.

An almost 150 passer rating with no ints and no fumbles today, clearly makes your point for you.

Good job, good effort.
This is the downside of getting too locked in on an opinion on particular players.

I'm guessing CMR tested your concerns today, and the stats suggest significant improvement from Rosier on the turnovers.

I'm curious to know the QB run stats, if any ...

Its one scrimmage. Pete just said on the podcast that rosier is still having issues with decision making and accuracy.

The first time he has the opportunity in a game situation in camp he doesn't turn the ball over and Richt has said he's made excellent decisions so far. Today suggests he might have changed.

Yea. The first scrimmage this year he didn't throw a pick and now he is cured.

Rosier finally had a good performance in a scrimmage and yall acting like he some great qb now. Jay cutler is a turnover machine and he has had games where he didnt turn the ball over.

did Cutler do it against a Hurricane defense though?

Not sure why most of the chatter talk is all about Perry and Shirrefs. This is was the first scrimmage and Rosier performed the best and is far more athletic than Shirrefs with a stronger arm. Yes he has been erratic in the past BUT this is today! He is mature, been here the longest, has some game time experience, and this could be his time to lead. Perry need more time to mature and develop. My bet is on Rosier!

Pete has been "anti-Rosier" for 2 seasons, now. Claimed he wouldn't even be on the roster last season. At this point, it's probably best to take any comments on Rosier from Pete and DMoney with a grain of salt.

But even Pete was "walking back" his opinions on Malik in the last podcast. First time he's actually mentioned him as a legit candidate to start since the starting job became available. Until the last podcast, it was all Perry, with a dash of don't count out Shirreffs.

Apples and oranges on the QB play. I don't know but I seriously doubt each QB got to work with the #1 offense against the #2 defense and vice versa for situational plays. Malik did well today and great for him and the team but we don't know if the other QB's were put in the same situations until someone that was there tells us so. Long ways to go before naming a starter. Until Perry completely craps the bed I'm thinking he will be given every opportunity to prove he is the man.

Richt told us. They all got moved around and put in different situations. You can watch the highlights from today. Throws against different players, 1s and 2s for all the QBs.

Ryan Williams tearing his ACL was a ***** job?

he was ready for the Louisville game. Ask any player on that team.

Smells like revisionist history to me.

QB Williams Cleared To Play

lulz

Can't wait for the Kaayak apologists to spin this one.

Basically all the upperclassmen wanted Willimas to play. Everything Mongo said on the radio has been confirmed on here by apfenny.

But some people refuse to look facts in the face.

I think it was Feliciano who went on the radio a couple years ago and basically said that Williams was healthy, everyone knew it, but Golden started Kaaya because it gave him an excuse ( true freshman QB) for not winning as many games that year. Sounds a little bit of a stretch to me, IMO.

I'll say this though IF Perry is not starting game one or game two I don't want him anywhere near the field and hope he Red shirts.

If he has to come in and start game 4 or 5 or whatever after game two that means Rosier Or Sherriffs or both have fCked up and our year is trashed.

So I don't want him playing after game 2 at the latest or however long it is into the season where he loses his RS.If Perry ain't starting game one put a RS on him.

Pretty sure if he plays a single play his shirt is burned.

Did you not read this ******* thread? It's already been proven that RW was medically cleared before the Nebraska game.

THISSSS. This whole "ease Perry into the starting role" would basically mean we're going 8-4 because the other QBs done dropped 2 games already. Who ever starts I want a great season from 'em period.

For all those shytting on Rosier it looks like maybe we should just put him in for situational plays like those situations when we need completions and TDs.

I always thought Rosier was the Alpha since Perry first arrived. But it's still feast or famine with him. He will get you the big plays but still needs work on the accuracy and turnovers.

What part of accuracy and INTs did Rosier struggle with today? Looked like a lot of feast today.

you only quoted part of what I said. You left out the part I did mention no ints today which is a good sign for him. But I am referring to his body of work which suggests otherwise.

MANNN.. I'm using cooting logic from now on. Instead of following the visits I'm following the practice QB rotation because it ain't lie to me yet. Rosier still hasn't been dethrone from being rotated in first since the spring so I'm rolling with that. I got no problem with Rosier because he is a aggressive QB. It unlikely we beat FSU (unless we get some defensive scores) but if we lose then at least I know with Rosier we ain't lose playing scared. You gonna play tight M2M coverage w/ no safties and stack the box? Rosier gonna throw it up regardless I mean just look at his first career start boy was chucking it he played with no fear. I think because of Rosier size and playing style his ceiling is Trace McSorley.
