Correct. All that package deal crap is overplayed by the recruitniks.

I hope your right. You would think guys like Coley and Collins would be looking out for what's best for their own future and best interests.

I have no idea how close those guys really are. At the end of the day, Coley is a UM fan, and so is his mom. Coley's corch is former UM great Donnell Bennett. Donnell will be pushing UM hard. No way we lose Coley because some dude down the street is going to FSU. The only reason Coley wasn't publicly gung ho on UM until recently is because he had non-football issues that he had to work out before UM would even offer him. We're all on the same page now, and Coley will be a Cane barring him sinking back into bad habits.

Collins will be a Cane too. He was new to the process and wanted to experience it. He'll come back around. Watch.

Think about it guys. UM makes it known that Coley won't get an offer unless he matures. Coley does the work necessary to get that offer, and immediately UM is in the driver's seat and Coley is visiting the school. It clearly isn't a case of UM getting on Coley too late and him losing interest because of that. Coley wanted UM and did the necessary things to get to UM, but then goes to FSU? Coley made affirmative steps to get to UM. He isn't going to go to FSU because his friend goes there. AND his coach is a 'Cane. I would be completely shocked if he went elsewhere.

I will continue to add to this thread all day as new development take place.

**As expected, FSU OC James Coley visited South Plantation today and met with FSU commit John Franklin and RB target Alex Collins. Franklin sent out this tweet: "Coach Coley to smooth he just left from visiting me and @Budda03 #FSU"

**I exchanged a few text messages with Keith Bryant earlier today and he told me that Miami coaches haven't set up any more visits with him recently.

**I was told last night that Stacy Coley was "ready to commit" to Miami, but that FSU's offer to Eddie Jackson is a blow to Miami's chances. Jackson and Coley are very close friends.

FSU can't beat us head on

They have to offer their scrub friends to have any chance agasint Golden. LOL at Franklin tweeting about anything. Kid didnt earn the scholly he got gifted

I would feel like a clown if I knew my scholly came with an asterisk yet this kid adamantly beileives FSU really wants him for his "talents" HAHAHAHAHA

ayo someone better tweet these kids like Coley and tell them that he can be booted and scholarships are renewed yearly im sure they do not know this. Who am I kidding Al got this.

So is Coley a Miami or a Florida or both. Cause all I heard from Gates was that if they wanted him he was theirs to lose....

They're dumbasses. Coley is going to UM.

FSU is scared. Very scared. They are getting out recruited by Golden with sanctions looming over us. Despite their best "MIAMI GETTING THE DEATH PENALTY" tactics, the only way they can get these south Florida kids is by doing this.

Relax gentlemen. Eventually it will bite them in the *** big time. We may lose some of these guys in the short term, but this is a very good sign for where we are headed.

Trust Golden.

Its fkin funny that they r scared as **** and we havent even won **** yet and we have a cloud over us. How is it going to be after the NCAA stuff and 9 to 10 wins regularly. FSU will have to offer there whole family a scholly ajd the players future children. Scum *** tactics, young kids usually wont see this but hopefully the adults in there household will.

So as kids hear about FSU's willingness to put their boys on, they will start requesting scholarships for their friends in exchange for their commitments. FSU is a few years away from 40 good players and 40 guys who should be at FIU.

The funniest thing that could happen is all these dudes come to UM and FSU has a handful of kids they don't want but are stuck with.

FSU won't honor any LOI that are faxed in without the LOI of thier blue chip recruit friend's

they should play there card. If im AC I tell FSU privately that imma be a Cane and tell them early. See what they do to there friends on signing day n wait. That would be interesting.

This is literally math

FSU
1 Wilder JR
1 Freeman
= 2 established starting RB who will start over Collins. Collins gets washup duty and special plays 1-3 a game

MIAMI
1 Duke
= 1 RB who needs a ******* legit running back tandem who should be Alex Collins

Do they teach math at South Plantation

Franchise, after further analysis I have determined that you do in fact, Get It.

/FWIW

I had no idea that you thought I didn't get it. LULZ. Did you have another screen name somewhere else where we didn't get along or something?

LOL nah. Guess that was worded wrong. I was just making a joke since so many people seem to know you here but I never posted with you.

**** message board humor backfire.

That doesnt include a supremely talented but troubled Pender and Green. I think Collins is better than Green, about equal to Pender if Pender can get his **** together. Even then Its not like Green is a scrub. It makes absolutely no sense from a depth chart point for AC to go to FSU. Freeman and Wilder are there for another two years, and the other 2 will get their share of carries regardless if AC is better.

"Package deals" might be overplayed directly...but playing with your buddies is not. It is definitely a draw and it happens a lot. I don't think I need to list examples...it may nor may not have an effect with some of the players we are talking about currently, but it has effected Miami in the past and it has helped plenty of schools get a group of players.

As in Malcolm Lewis and Tracy Howard
