2 Things need to happen IMO for us to land 90% of these kids we want:

1. At least 10 wins next season. Gotta become nationally relevant/competitive again.

2. The NCAA doesn't butt **** us into Bolivian. We half-way skate, we takin' over.

Cook has elite speed. I believe D$ hit it on point, his running style is very similar to Lamar miller.

Cook has WAY better feet and balance. The glaring thng they have in common is the straight line speed. IMO Cook will be even better than Lamar.

I agree Cook will be better. He does have better feet than Miller, particularly in the open field, and breaks more tackles. They remind me of each other because they aren't traditional backs in terms of lean and running style, but get away with it because of their freakish explosiveness and above-average size.

Artie Burns will be highest drafted NFL player of anyone on that list outside of Thomas.

What about Lane?! As freaky as he is now, imagine him after 3 years in any S&C program. Its a passing league. Dominant WR's do not grow on trees.

I think your assertion that it's a passing league means Lane would go lower. Why would I waste a pick on a Calvin Johnson, when I could draft Jason Pierre Paul or Von Miller, and draft Jordy Nelson later? WR's at the top of the draft are making less and less sense.

Waste a pick on Calvin Johnson!?!?!?!

Calvins, Fitzgeralds, Dre's, AJ Greens will always go high, always......

We could end up with all of these guys in the top 10, would be unreal.

We have the chance to take the state back with the next few recruiting classes to go along with the last 2. We are assembling some crazy talent.

Golden has to be excited about recruiting down here

Man, I hate little nevin. He's the only thing standing in our path to greatness.

Now get some LINEMAN.

I feel like we are doing a good job on the OL, Kirkland McDermott and Darling are in the top 20 and we have a great chance at all 3, to go along with gall.

Agree we need some more impact DL but it seems the staff realizes this and is scouring the planet for guys that can contribute.

Any of them dudes got rings?

Da **** that matter? In a passing league they are the best at their positions. Of course you don't wanna "waste" a pick on one of them, genius. Marino don't have one, you wouldn't waste one on him at QB right? Barry Sanders would be a wasted RB pick too?? Peterson, Tomlinson, both NFL busts, no rings....... Tony Gonzales as a TE is a good draft pick, wait, what? No rings??? pass.

LMAO

I watched that short Cook highlight and instantly thought "Spiller" before going on and reading he was committed to Clemson. He cannot get away.

I took a year or two hiatus from recruiting, but I feel like it's accurate to say the talent in Dade and Broward had a cycle where it was severely down by its own standards over the last several years. It's obvious though that it's returning to its usual level of greatness.
