People are emotional. Gattis is done, there's no way he comes back, because Mario knows that having that dude on staff is cancer. Honestly, I would be shocked if any of the offensive staff outside of Mirabal returns. Mario is likely to give whomever is next full autonomy, and let them build their staff. Too many good OCs out there for Mario to tolerate this kind of crap. Frankly, Gattis is coaching like he knows he is fired, a lot of his decisions feel like middle fingers to Mario and everyone involved.
You give Mario a lot of credit that frankly does not comport with his coaching history.

It’s real, but I’m not sure what people expect him to say in a press conference to the media. He’s not going to throw him under the bus — that’s a bad look and would make it hard to attract future coaches.

Diaz was the same way with Enos. He didn’t torch him in post-game press conferences.
No, he’ll instead throw the players under the bus, as well as letting Alex Ruiz do the same on Twitter.

That’s a terrible look with parents and recruits.

If I have to sit through another year of this abortion of an offense then I’m out. Watching a stubborn man who’s making millions destroy this beloved program would be too much to bear. The solutions are so clear and that’s what makes us so mad as a fan base. Obstinacy and arrogance man

I know it's bad and tonight really sucked, but I'm still here now and I've been here for 15 years.. Im not going anywhere. I tell my friends all the time, if I'm this annoying as a Miami fan now, God help you all when they get this right. #GoCanes

You might be on your death bed by the time they even begin to turn it around.

If Mario can hold on to this recruiting class, turn over 40% of the roster and most importantly get a good OC, I think we’ll be alright.
What worries me, can he make a right hire?
Gattis had a ton of red flags and was never a good fit here. We might as well have rehired Enos.

I would bet on it. Mario is not trying to be the smartest guy in the room. He sees how bad our QBs look. TVD is a good player and the other two have talent. It shouldn’t be this bad.
That gives me hope

Oregon never looked this bad. That’s what gets me. The level of regression from an already-mediocre team is shocking.

It’s not like the Kirby/Kyle situation or 2019 when the QB room was falling apart. TVD is a good player who was zapped of his big-play ability.
