Same here. All this talk about how important it is to get this hire right is just the usual administration BS. They're going to hire this ****. I just KNOW it. Same thing as the Coker, Shannon, and Golden hires: A huge letdown.

I don't know if people really realize how bad FIU is.....they were 0 and 12 before he was hired. South Florida ain't such a fertile recruiting base after Miami, FSU, FLa, South Fla and Central Fla take who they want. They only had 3 coaches as a football program, Mario had 8 and 7 win seasons. The highest win total by another coach there was 5. Like I mentioned before, there are more proven candidates available but I wouldn't trip if dude got hired.

If Mario were hired, I'd stop giving a **** because the school would be sending a message to everyone that it doesn't give a **** whether their football team wins or loses.

Mario is the one coach who is almost guaranteed to be hired.

I don't think it will be as a HC but any coach who comes on this staff is going to try and get him either before they accept or immediately after.

If Butch get's hired Mario will be on his staff. How awesome would that be? Wood to head explosion in a matter of days.

People would quit Miami simply because a coach brought in someone that the best coach in football already pays to have on his staff. Go figure. Saban is so FN stupid... ROTFFL

We actually get to lose douchers and steal someone off of the best staff in the country. Win win win win win win win win win win win win win

Obviously Beanerdick is coming here at some position. He's gonna be as welcome as a SKUNK at a picnic, but he's coming because the local power brokers insist on him being here.

What on earth are you smoking? The powers that be at UM know **** well what is at stake here. You really think that they would be obtuse enough to hire Cristobal? No way! They know this needs to electrify the fan base. Cristobull will not do that.

I'm so **** tired of everyone pushing this guy down our throats. Why because hes Cuban? Who gives a *****! I'm Cuban so what? I want a great football coach not someone to play dominoes with.
 
I'm at a point now where the next hire will determine my interest in the program

If they hire a great coach, I'll continue flying out to games and following on TV

If they hire a bum, I'll probably tune out
