Will Rosier improve like Brock Berlin?

stop looking for support *****...it is what it is and you are one of the azzholes im talking about in my post. according to all your previous post, i can tell you are not football savvy and just speak just to be a part of the convo. if you can't comprehend what is being said then that explains who you are and why you sit in your granny's basement and throw out geek stat bs that have no grounds to stand on. after the LSU game you will be one that gives excuse after excuse why #12 struggled and couldn't get anything going for the O to succeed. the OLine didn't give him time, the running game wasn't effective enough, the D couldn't get stops, coaches didn't call plays that put him in position to succeed, and so on. fact is your boyfriend is not good and you have a hard time recognizing and acknowledging truth.
Miami 41
LSU 13

You’ll never be heard from again.

It’s funny that you call me not football savvy in the same post where you’re ready to trash the QB even if the line sucks, the run game sucks, and the defense sucks.

I’m not football savvy because I understand that there’s more than one guy on the field.

geek, i'm not doubting the win. i'm talking about his play specifically. we have an awesome team and staff but #12 is undenialbly our weak link. as the qb, our offense and team as a whole will go as far as he's able to take us.

be seen not heard nerd

you're really that stupid. i was quoting excuses dummy. perfect example of a brain gone wrong

@Canezum5 ’s brain exploded trying to figure out what a “physical intangible” is.

You have some serious issues, man.

Do you think you get brownie points for being grammar police?

(of an asset or benefit) not constituting or represented by a physical object and of a value not precisely measurable.

"intangible business property like trademarks and patents"

i dont see how your so confused. he doesnt have the attributes, assets, intangibles, athleticism to be a championship level qb

i think you knew what i meant from the beginning.

go get some pusaay man. you need a life

Havent read thru it,...but since that's been attached to QB play for decades, let me help you out a little.
QB Play = Tom Brady-style play (staying still and throwing)
You either do good or dont.
The intangible from more physically gifted players = adding something else to the equation
cant always be accounted for and doesn't always show up in the stats.

You can reach Superbowls with it (Kaepernick,...Russell Wilson),...and you can also crumble and throw
away your career with it if you're not disciplined. That's why it's an intangible. Not very hard.

Oh look another dumb post from a proven board dummy where you try to redefine a word that anybody with an 8th grade education should understand. Players using their physical skills to their advantage is not an “intangible,” Low IQ Romeo. It’s just...them having superior physical skills. Russell Wilson having good wheels is an observable, measurable trait. I’m sure you’ll spend another thirty sentences trying to redefine the word inTANGIBLE though.

Your “conclusion” at the end of your post Is laugh out loud funny because it makes absolutely zero sense. You and canezum5 should take some remedial english classes together.

There are teams that have way less talent in their backfield & OL than us & still figure out how to run the ball.

Go see who's been top 20 in rushing, they ain't all got NFL caliber 5-star lineman upfront. If you're waiting for us to have nothing but elite OL's on the line before we can ever be a great offense, then you'll be waiting for a long long time.

Hurry up and wait. Your point about less talent and their success, can be attributed in part to nutrition, work-outs and development, especially on the OL. Tyler Gauthier is a classic example.

I think a majority of Cane fans are conflicted about starting Rosier... on one side the hope is that he does well enough to get us into the playoffs, on the side the fear is that we will have another lacksidaisical 2-3 loss season with him and we will be in the same situation next year with uncertainty at QB.
If I were Richt, I would take a 2 year approach and play Perry. Rosier is a short term fix for a mediocre season. He is not going to take us to the playoffs. Rather give reps to the young guns in the first 4 games and play it out.
But i am not Richt and he alone gets paid the big bucks to make that decision.... while we remain cautiously optimistic and wait for the first few games...

This isin't the 1800's,...words and meanings are re-defined all the time,...nothing you can do about it. You were confused,....I cleared it up. Enough with the quirky mating calls to random men here that you obviously have a thing for. How bout more arguing about,....you know,...sports??

You did make it very clear that you have no idea what the word means or how to use it. Thanks for the analysis though. Always funny to see dummies fall flat on their face.

Physical skills = intangibles lmao

Rosier as a junior was 1000x better than Berlin as a junior. Clearly, he can improve like Berlin did, but he has far less room for improvement than Berlin did.
Yep. If anything, Rosier has a **** of a lot more room to go backwards. Berlin had nowhere to go but up.

If we had a more dominant offensive line and could depend on a solid running game against LSU then we could consider starting one of the young guns. Present situation puts too much pressure on the quarterback to deliver.

Rosier has been there before and done it. With improvement this season, perhaps we will see less 8-9 man fronts and the offense can open up both the rushing and passing game. With our skill players a balanced offense would be lethal.

I believe Rosier takes a step forward this year because, unlike last year, we have some backup QBs on the roster capable of stepping in and never letting Rosier see the field again if he's pulled for playing poorly. Rosier knows it and so I expect we see better performance from him.

Miami produces NFL caliber offensive lineman too, we literally have 2 of the highest paid lineman in the league & they were from the Folden era.

The point is, using the OL as an excuse is a cop out that fans will always use to keep from holding the staff accountable. UCF doesn't have an elite line, yet they carved up Auburn who has a defense filled with NFL talent. And we see how elite that NFL laden Notre Dame line looked against us right?

How long is gonna take is all I'm asking?

You take McKenzie Milton off UCF against Auburn and UCF scores a touchdown offensively. Milton had 13 carries for 116 yards. The rest of the team 23 carries for 55 yards. Milton made yards on his own with his legs. BTW, UCF's schedule was pathetic.

To your point, the offense will be better. Miami has recruited very well on the OL the past two cycles. Typically takes kids by year three to really make a significant impact. You are fortunate to get a kid who is impactful his first year. Hopefully, year two you get a couple of kids.

Pitt played their standard Cover4/Quarters defense that they always play. It’s designed to take away short passes while also having DBs close enough for run support.

They didn’t do anything special to beat us. They ran the same defense that had them ranked 60th against the run, and every body on our team not named Rosier combined for 16 yards rushing.

16 yards against Pitt in 60 minutes. They went from the 60th ranked rushing defense to the 40th just by playing us. They didn’t do anything differently than they had done all season, but it should not have mattered if they put 12 guys on the LOS.
Football is a simple game; it’s all about whipping the guy in front of you.

These test tube football fans always want to blame the QB or the scheme. There’s always a discrete scapegoat or some scientific event in their eyes when, in reality, we lost that game because it was Pitt’s bowl game and we completely no-showed. Rosier was horrible too, but so was everyone else.

Pitt is the type of team that can beat anyone if you come out flat because Narduzzi is one of those rah rah guys who can get his team sky high for a couple games a year like he did when they beat Clemson.

Lol exactly. There always has to be some narrative about how XYZ proves the coach or QB sucks. These dorks live for arguing about QBs and coaches.

Sometimes you just lose. There hasn’t been an undefeated national champion in how many years now?
