Why I trust Coach D'Onofrio....

This defense really sucks and this is year 2 with mostly his guys. You cant be a complete homer and say it looks like we've turned the corner on defense when we are giving guys career days. I will give him credit in the fact that the defense caused turnovers, but even EJ was burnt on that play. I'll blame it on not showing the full gameplan to KSU this game, but it didn't look much different den Maryland 2011.

I give him somewhat of a pass getting jumped on early....BC new Offensive coordinator and scheme and all. I feel they got knocked back on their heels to start the game.

The reason I have faith in Coach D, is because I have faith in Al Golden.

You can't tell me Coach Golden doesn't sign off on everything from scheme, to game plan, on a week to week basis. Golden is a former D coordinator and has his hands all over this program, in every aspect.

We have a young defense and I can only hope in a couple years when these kids get some experience we can get back to a dominating and attacking defense. Unfortunately, until our coaches feel confident our kids can get it done from a schematic and execution standpoint, it will probably be more "Bend don't Break".

Golden isn't getting rid of D'Onofrio........so those of you that are calling for it, don't hold your breath.

I obviously had more faith in Golden's ability as a defensive mind at that time.....AT THAT TIME.

Fact #1 .....hated Coker hire day 1.

Fact#2......hated Shannon hire day 1.

I'm pretty certain we'll never win big with him here. Been pretty critical of his offensive staff and recruiting. He'll be better than the previous three regimes but he doesn't have what it takes to win big imo.

I don't want Richt to fire himself....I want him to act like a grownup and run our program like a National Title contender. You are the biggest joke on this board.
 
What has Richt done to earn all of yalls fervor? Being better than Al Golden is probably the minimum requirement to even exist on this planet.

This team was very average.

Funny thing is I've never attacked posters for being critical of a staff/coaches, which is what 90% of you Richt **** riders do. Golden and staff were plenty worthy of criticism throughout their whole time here.

AT THIS TIME (which was still very early) I had faith they could turn it around. Obviously I was dead wrong.

Like I said before:

Called the abomination that was Larry Coker Day #1 . Called the abortion that was the Randy Shannon HC tenure Day #1 . Took me a couple years to realize Golden didn't have what it took to get it done here.

You clowns are comical.
