What will it take for you to believe again in #TNM?

Win football games. Put the chain and the knuckles on mothballs until wins start coming and the come against actual competition. Don't wanna see that ish against BC. Spare me the phucking morale arguement. If you need that crap to get you pumped - hit the transfer protocol.

It’s a shame deejay even has to say that. Fans take this sh*t too far and really hate everything about the team including the players when they lose. What I saw In those comments were terrible period. Fans intentionally or even unintentionally pit themselves against the players when they make disrespectful comments like that about the team. Whether it was this or even early in the week with jarrens stats and video from the game that was released by canesfootball on Twitter, it was embarrassing. WHO would willingly want to come here when fans go out their way to hate everything just because the team had some failures early on in the season. Yeah we got to do better but everyone knows that sh*t

Manny is a first-year HC and he should feel embarrassed about the defensive product on the field. I believe in him but I want to see a more simplistic defense that allows our athletes to anticipate, be physical, and play fast. Loud noises and unwavering violence, that's what set this thing off to begin with. Until then he's not living up to "the standard".

While I think there could have been a veteran HC found that might improve in a few areas (maybe discipline and attitude) I am basically happy with Diaz. Sure he could have been allocated funds or resources to hire a bit of a better staff, especially for recruiting prowess, and maybe some super aides de camp like Bama does, but he was dealt what he was dealt.

In these new Miami times, politically charged and otherwise, there are no more Bear Bryants or Lombardis that get the big bad players behaving like scared little rabbits fearful of a dressing down or even a stern look. Some use the word “soft” I think over-rated or smug or too self-sure is more accurate. At times, appearing more concerned with career prospects, stature, and playing time - - -prep and practice and improvement seem to take a second seat when much of the actual talent on hand really needs it. And with all the secret practices and clamp-down on leaks, hard to know the score (in these areas.)

Diaz was basically dealt Jeff Thomas (punt reception decisions and foibles) Baxa (bungles) 4th and 17 (defenders with mental mistakes at critical times) Zion, Campbell, Scaife (OL woes) JW (choose to throw to Mallory (who drops it) rather than obvious easy run-in) Knowles, and much much more…

…this can be a winning hand against less than stellar teams, or even against top teams if some of the high-potential talent have stellar performances, and mishaps are kept to a minimum. It seems highly doubtful Urban Meyer or other similar HC would have won either of the first 2 games with this roster, and going even 8-4 with it this year may be more of a feather in Diaz cap then a failure!

I think Meyer would be 2-0. Remember he wouldnt have Mannys staff.

hi smokey, what makes u think that Meyers staff would change (outcome or execution of) enough critical plays and choices made by baxa, jthomas, Scaife, Williams, Mallory and others that hurt us in games 1 and 2?

Would only take a play or two better, and I must say Meyer and his staff are a play a game better than Manny.

Something tells me that Manny will adjust and learn from his rookie head coaching mistakes.

I saw improvements across the board (not this board 😂) from game 1 to 2.

If we continue getting better each week, we back!

See you at Hard Rock....
