UGA Fans Blaming Richt's Recruiting

Best stat of this

UGA had won the last 10 games against ole miss, i'm assuming nearly all under Richt's watch. LMAO

One of the biggest signs of a corch is if their side of the ball sucks ***. Smart is looking very corchy.

We strongly disagree with your hypothesis.

Of course they will blame Richt and not the fact that great players don't want to go to a place like Athens which is a tobacco chewin, grit slurping, dentally impaired place but then I just remembered! There are places just like Athens for example Gainesville, Tallahassee and Tuscaloosa! What about Knoxville ask Tyler Byrd how Appalachian State was for a home opener cake walk? Don't want to schedule them again!

If that guy who still hates the Diaz hire tell him might be a dirt cheap discount on Uncle Rico (Van Gorder Richt's original DC at Ga when they were in the top 5 every year) if Diaz falls flat as he might be looking for a job next week! That is if The Canes ever want him I mean who wants him right now? He can't even stop a Charlie Strong offense without Teddy Bridgewater! I guess no laterals or Corn Elder to save ND from Duke this week means Uncle Rico isn't too far from the unemployment line!

Speaking of hot seat or wanting to hide Mark Dantonio's teams have looked putrid vs good competition. His once proud MSU defense has been whalloped by Bama and Wisconsin (even without Aranda) even his offense couldnt score more than 6 points! Dantonio disappeared from the sidelines down 30-6. No joke check it on ESPN he did a Patrino!

The point is get used to the parody in college football it is here to stay! Aside from counting on The Nicktator every year with his unlimited budgets for 356 assistants and free access to Scarlett's for all new recruits other teams will go through a cycle of Ups and downs. I would love to see Miami of the 80s. The question is it sustainable for any team outside the NCAA infraction laden group from Tuscaloosa?

I am actually going to say something I can't believe I am saying ! Honestly speaking Folden's recruits were not bad! He just happened to tbe he single worst head coach in the history of any sport! Add to this Mr LA Fitness and "No Nickel, No Dime Package" Dorito it wouldn't matter you could have The New England Patriots roster! With Folden, Dorito and Swasey they would be Dartmouth!

UGA got themselves a dud. The coRching signs are there.

They will keep lying to themselves until they can no longer deny it.

If anyone knows about ****ty coaches it's us. And they got a ****ty coach

Yep - the signs are all there. Fortunately for them, they haven't had a corch in a long time which prevents them from seeing the classic symptoms of a corch led team. We, otoh, know the corchinb phenomenon all too well.

The signs are all there - shift blaming the prior coach, the talent cupboards are bare, the kids need to adjust to the new (better) system, etc.

so true.

It's like when teams hire Belichick assistants hoping to get a piece of the magic, only to realize they are nothing more than cogs. Which is why fans who wanted UM to hire Mario should refrain from talking about football ever again.

Some winning HC's seem to turn out future good HCs, others do not. I suspect that the huge control freak types do not hire or develop leadership skills in assistants, who then fail when on their own. Saban does not seem to have the touch, but turning our HC is not his job.

Eason looks like a talent but he could go the way of Hackenberg.

Not sold on his coaching.

Spot on with the Sackenburg comparison. The UGA o-line is even looking as garbage as the ones he had at Penn State. That excuse only goes so far though once you prove yourself to be wildly inaccurate even with time to throw. Obviously a 3 game sample size is too small but that's absolutely who I was trying to think he reminded me of.

Speaking as a realistic Dawg fan, that O-line had 90 returning starts and won 10 games the last 2 years with horrible QB play. Donor think it's players guys, this new coaching staff not getting it done this year. I am missing CMR already and am definitely following the Canes since he is here.

Do you think the players are slacking some because they liked Mark? JJ's first year here was strange. First couple games team beat Auburn and UF, team that claimed it should have been NC the year before and the team that gave them their only loss that year. Later JJ face a virtual revolution on staff and maybe team. It was a painful year. Any signs of that with your dogs?

Mark this down: the Canes are going to run into Kirby Smart and Georgia in a Bowl Game.

You'll see the difference between the two coaches then. It will be a beat down by Miami, similar to Miami-Florida in 2000.

UGA is not making the playoffs. How are we going to run into Smart in bowl game -- is he going back to bama THAT fast? Maybe I am a little drinking a little too much KOOL aide.

If Richt didn't leave Kirby Chubb they would be 1-3 right now.

Richt also gifted Eason for Smart, and any successs moving forward will be because of Eason IMO.

UGA fans are stuck with Smart, so they are forced to defend him.

Saban is a great coach in College where he can manipulate, dominate and trash people every time he has a tantrum. He found out in the NFL grown men won't take his sh*t. Name the coaches who made the successful leap from college to Pros. There is JJ and UMM? Who else? Harbaugh that is it.

Again Saban can coach but think of the money in Tuscaloosa? The money alone they are paying Scott Cochran more than most head coaches so he wouldn't jump to Ga. I think what Herman has done at a smaller school is amazing. Not sure if his system works in the NFL but the man sure can coach college! Game of the year might be Clemson/Louisville next week.

The Nicktator and Meyer 1a and 1b! I can't stand either of them but who likes the great ones? The Good Catholic Girl school called JJ "Pork Faced Satan"! To be a great coach we all said starts with S&C and good assistants. The guy who Saban hammered on the sidelines last week yeah I make fun at Kiffin(who doesn't I mean this is a man just waiting to be made fun of) but he calls a good offense. Just sucks as a HC. That commentator was prob right Saban probably wouldn't have won a title without Kiffin. Who with Jake Coker? He was worse than Ryan Clement!

I mean the hatred for Miami back then it was jealousy like Soldinger said. The "Miami" rule look not good enough to get your asses kicked and can't take it like dudes then learn the piano! Which is why I always liked and respected Bowden. They never dropped us. They lost but they took it like men unlike The Alligators and The Golden Showers!

Offensive gurus....

The defensive guys are typically not good at the head coach thing with a few expectations.

I agree. Offensive coaches know how to put points on the board. Defensive guys are emotionally driven. you gotta be calculating as a HC.
