Remember how we got screwed in 2000 after we beat FSU but lost that West Coast game to the Huskies?

If they can find a way to tiebreak us out of the playoffs, they will.

They put us in the Peach Bowl with Kirby, assuming he goes the rest of the way with only one more loss.

Yeah, he had a few other games that weren't so close as well (against highly-ranked teams)....

I don't recall seeing his teams lose to teams he should've beaten too often, though....

I don't think that'll happen too much at Miami either....

yes but those are still pretty bad losses. I really wonder how much it had to do with Richt not calling plays and his coordinators.

I really hope he's learned from his mistakes....I believe he has. Diaz and Kul were tremendous hires, as was Gus Felder.

Doubt it. It seems we are trending in different directions, and (miraculously) we have the easier schedule.
 
Yep. No chance we see Georgia this year. They're in for a rough season. We're not.

Feel bad for Eason, he looked better in their spring game. Seems to have regressed with their coaching.

UGA got themselves a dud. The coRching signs are there.

They will keep lying to themselves until they can no longer deny it.

If anyone knows about ****** coaches it's us. And they got a ****** coach
 
What many don't see is hat bamers success has been winning the recruiting battles and reloading. Saban a great recruiter, a good coach but not great. When all things equal (rarely) they will and can be beat. Too many assume they have great assistant coaches because of their time at bamer, but they are successful more so because of talent, not necessarily because of superior coaching. Saban could never do with L'ville 3 stars what Petrino has done.

And Dantonio's record at Mich St is a lot better than Saban's was. And those aren't all 5 stars headed to Mich St....

Pros are a different story. A lot of times you have to strike luck and hope your front office is worth a crap - the Phins are not. Saban's not the best pro coach, but he's still a **** good coach. Dude has 5 national titles on his resume, and 4 of them were within the last 7 years.

And "isn'tno" is a double negative, so you're aware.
