This right here. Just because Richt is light years ahead of our last three hires and an established winners, there are still reasonable concerns on whether or not he can get over the hump. It's not that difficult of a concept to grasp.

But it's mean to call into question a coach's inability to win the big game at a school with insane recruiting advantages and oodles of money.

After all, putting on the orange and green automatically makes you win a dozen championships, right?

Guy is a top 5 active most winningest coaches. I think he knows what he is doing. The process of hiring is taking long because he is thinking about coaching ability, recruiting, cohesiveness. Not just hey he can recruit. You got to trust his ability to pick coaches and pick players. He's proven both! So as a fan base let's embrace every hire, and all players he recruits. I mean he chose Pruitt and guess who plucked him, Saban. Guy can pick coaches and players.

But as you well know, there are a ton of part time corches on this board with NFL scout neighbors who wont be happy unless Richt picks their "guy".

Some of these same part time coaches, I was one, nailed the inadequacies of our former HC within the 1st few games. This isn't rocket science if you know how to analyze the data that is out there.

Yeah, too bad its documented on Eye of the hurricane blog, ESPN blogs, facebook and others. I can actually prove MY disdain for golden. Seeing as how i sat in the rain at the merryland game and watched that terrible merryland team beat us with the same exact play over and over again with NO adjustments. FOH. anyone with a brain should have seen the writing on the wall. Or maybe my vision was focused a little harder because i spent a shid ton of money and pulled a lot of strings to get to that game and watch the beginning of a five year SHID SHOW that a thought was the "golden era" of miami football.
